hopefully, the outline for the whole game has already been made. if there's already a whole skeleton for the game (key scenarios, before-the-ending scenes, the endings), then that might help in not losing track of the development.

the images come in close second to that. if it's pretty enough, it will attract and keep players.

at the end of the day, the AVN is supposed to be fun for the player to continue playing.

Yes, the full outline is already done. To give you a better idea of the roadmap: the plan involves 5 Phases with roughly 12 events per phase for each character.

As for the release schedule, I’m planning to keep a steady cycle: as soon as I release Gisela Phase 3 on Patreon, Emily Phase 3 will be released for free to the public. Once the game is fully finished, the complete version will be free for everyone, as I plan to move on to a new corruption-focused project by then.

Regarding the content progression:

  • Phase 4: Will introduce explicit sex scenes and potentially the husbands/partners.
  • Phase 5: This is where we go all in with the classic NTR/Corruption tropes (Gangbangs, Hotwifing, etc.).
Right now, I'm wrapping up Phase 3. I genuinely believe the story will hook fans of the genre, but I agree with you on the visuals—that's my priority. Being my first AVN, I'm learning as I go. If I find a consistent workflow that significantly boosts quality, I might even consider remastering the earlier phases (keeping the character models/style but upgrading menus, backgrounds, and lighting).

Let's see where this goes!

if these involve a lot of branching paths, then the gap between updates could increase significantly, as well as the word count too.

People inexperienced in writing can be very surprised by how fast things can balloon when you start to add variation.

Let say that you have a 20.000 thousand words kinetic novel with no choice at all from start to finish. Which is around 1 hour of "reading" and I'd say pretty decent when it come to a completed VN

Let say now that you add illusory choice that do not impact the ending but momentarely change dialogue, let's say 20 of those. Good you just added at least 2.000 words up to 4.000 words.

22.000 to 24.000

Now imagine you add 1 major variation with a completely new ending mid way through? Well you'll be lucky to reuse much content above the 10.000 original mark, and you still have ten illusory variation to write too! So that add what? anywhere between 9.000 and 12.000?

31.000 to 36.000

But how you want to add another variation on both path for a good and bad ending at the middle point of the divergent paths now! So that way you got four ending! You can add just another 9.000 to 12.000 words!

40.000 up to 48.000 words

Now let's go absolutely mad and say you want to add another main branch with the same bad and good ending ? That's 18.000 to 24.000 more words!

You're game is now ranging from 58.000 up to 72.000 words !

If you're in the upper range?

Congratulation, you're 6k away from having written the equivalent of Harry potter the philosopher stone.
And from start to finish on any one path you're game is STILL one hour long. You merely added hours of replayability.

This ballooning is in part WHY there's a LOT of dev that only update one or two path at once, especially as their game reach their middle to late stage.

Writing 2k words for one path per update, per month is decently easy for someone with no to little experience in addition to everything else. write 2k words for all 6 paths? That's 12k per update on TOP of everything else.

Hello everyone, Dev here. I just wanted to drop by and say a massive thank you for playing the game and for the honest reviews/feedback posted here so far. I've been reading through all of them. As you can probably tell from the version number, the project is still in an experimental phase. I am currently testing different dynamics and pacing to see what works best. My main focus right now is to flesh out the story further (especially the corruption arcs) and, most importantly, significantly improve the image quality. I am aware that the visuals can be polished further, and I am dedicating more time to lighting, expressions, and consistency for the upcoming updates. Thanks for giving the game a chance. Please keep the feedback coming, it helps a lot!
Please tell me the girls are going to get ass fucked, show those bitches who's the boss

There's nothing inherently more worthwhile in making graphics "realistic". You like/want realism, there's internet full of literally real porn out there, knock yourself out.
That's true, but then there's usually no story/context and with that half the turn-on is gone (real porn movies with actual stories are mostly gone, these aren't Taboo-American-Style days anymore, it's mostly cam girls and 15-minute shorts now). Also, it's very difficult/expensive to get real girls that look exactly as you want to do porn and if they already do then most people have already seen them fuck 100 times so the novelty isn't there either at all or not as much anymore. Not so with AI, it's why models like Tilly Norwood were made to replace real actors in mainstream movies and TV shows, but at least with AVNs the bar can be lowered quite a bit since they usually don't actually need to use their voice.

I am dedicating more time to lighting, expressions, and consistency for the upcoming updates
in my humble opinion: lights, expressions, interior design whatever is nice to have but the bodyparts/limbs are the most important part.
Preview pics show characters with 6 fingers, missing limbs and so on.
When I see ai I instantly look at the hands. Its like a magnet. A good facial expression, realistic lightning and shadows are the cherry on the top but the basics are way more important (to me).

Doesn't have to be true. Maybe its just placeholders, maybe its a honest mistake. But 6 fingers to me means: Dev didn't care enough to generate the pic again and just wanted to be done with it.

You are absolutely right.
That "magnet" effect you mentioned is real,once you see a bad hand, it breaks the immersion completely.
To be honest, those "preview" pics were from earlier batches where I was laser-focused on getting the game loop and dialogue working, and I definitely let some anatomy errors slip through Quality Control. It wasn't a lack of care, just me wearing too many hats as a solo dev and missing details. I will pay atention to that in the future.

I'm just thankful...hell grateful that the Antagonist is the MC, and not some wimpy simp getting off to spying on someone else taking all the women. Will be watching with interest! If you can buck the trend and not abandon after a couple of months, or release updates once every six months to a year, you'll have a new subscriber.

I started developing this project specifically because I was tired of that exact trope. I wanted to play as the active corruptor, the one pulling the strings, not the guy hiding in the closet crying while things happen.
Regarding the updates: I hear you loud and clear. "Abandoned WIPs" are the plague of this genre.
I can promise you this: I have a finished script, a structured 5-Phase roadmap, and I am treating this as a job, not just a weekend hobby. The goal is consistent, steady updates.
Stick around and watch the progress. I intend to earn that subscription through results, not just promises!

Is there an option to slit my own throat and jump out the window 1 min into the game? I don't want to beat my meat to a "powerful CEO conquers the world" story, even if he likes his chocolate.
