In my humble opinion breeding animations nice and all. But to be honestly would like more development dedicated to other mechanics.
Raiding mechanic implemented differently: Maybe add equipment to goblins or something and you raid settlements like in x-com combat mission, or like rts. And there would be random generated females which you can kidnap.
Base building: at this point all rooms are just dedicated to breeding. Would remake cave entirely. Make it more like Dungeon master type. mark areas to dig the cave. and goblins would go dig.
Gameplay loop: Where start with 1-3 random goblins. you dedicate one goblin to digging tunnels and others go outside gather materials and scout. Make event where scout catches random female. And she is breed then. Would remove brothels entirely. And sex encounters would be random as goblins may get horny and grab some female and drag her to some secluded part of cave to have fun with her. Add possible fatality of breeding stock. And add feeding pen where you can dispose corpses to Wargs or other animals goblins would use as mount or pets.
Breeding improvement: Rework whole stat progression. Randomize. Make that not after each breeding next child get +2 dmg but make it random. Like from 2 to 10 and not just one stat. Make that all stats would grow. Add breeding stocks Racial benefits. For example as i mentioned of reworking raiding and add equipment for goblins. So it would work this way: If you breed with an elf, offspring has chance to get passive perk "accuracy" (basically increase range and dmg of archer goblins). Same way you can tie some progressing into breeding system as after successfully capturing key character from raid you could progress by breeding her and acquiring passive perk.
Some more stuff that would game be more entertained:
Make over world map where you chose locations to raid.
Make system where older generation goblins could live long enough and grow stronger. So breeding would not be only means of progression. For example Goblin that survives multiple battles might grow into Hobgoblin->Goblin Champion->Goblin Monarch->Goblin king
Make so goblin visual appearance slightly would change in relation of what race his mother was. If Dwarf he is more bulky and muscular/ Elf might longer ears and more slander figure... etc.
I am huge goblin fan and i was wonting of grim dark goblin tribe sim. But this game not it at the time. It god nice fap material but i afraid it will roll down to same mistake as "Wild Life" or "cloud medow" adding just sex poses but no real gameplay...
Some good ideas, but I will mention the breeding improvement already exists. Milk slaves that were previously pregnant, then feed the milk to baby goblins using the pacifier icon on the UI and you'll get a huge stat boost every generation. It's pretty easy to miss for a while, so it's understandable players might not know about it.
Definitely agree with more base building options and making it easier/more obvious to navigate the cave. Of course any improvements to raids and the combat and systems around it would be great as well. I really hope there are defensive battles in the future as well. Humans just waiting for you to attack them and leaving you be is odd, so I hope those will be added soon. I think the variety of goblins might be a low priority though, that'd be a lot of additional work for a small benefit sadly.
I do think the brothel as it is is silly, goblins coming from where? to pay to fuck your girls is a bit of an eye roller, lol. It would probably be more realistic to have humans or demons or something lining up than goblins. At least from what we can see, goblins in this world aren't really advanced to the level of lining up and paying to fuck girls. Seems more like a placeholder atm. There should at least be some story or lore excuse given for why goblins can do business with slave owners and run a brothel.
Think about the pipeline for a moment: The way goblins make money is in raiding towns. During the raids they get money, but they also get women. Why would goblins have money from a raid, but no women to fuck themselves? Then of course how can these rando goblins afford to travel to your cave, but not to go grab some of their own women? Goblins from outside your cave or goblins that shouldn't have money paying for a brothel requires a few steps of nonsensical mental gymnastics to make sense atm, lol. Maybe if we at least saw goblins doing anything but living and fucking in a cave it would be easier to handwave away. Right now their lifestyle seems pretty far from human-like. Pretty hard to imagine them making money any other way to afford a brothel, or spending time to travel to your cave instead of trying to grab their own women.
If we think of the player character as some god, demon, or advanced goblin leading the others in the cave, you can kind of ignore the goblins making or modifying stolen milking machines, but it is a tough sell. I know for a lot of people "Porn games making sense" isn't a huge priority, but I hope stuff like that and the brothel/slave merchant stuff is given more attention. If this game used some cartoony graphics that stuff would pass under people's radar easier. The more realistic models really lead the game towards towards realism and needing explanations for stuff imo.
