Awesome.
I'm pre-emptively guessing that we have to start an entirely new save since we've had to do so in the last like 5 updates.
Mine are borked... how does he keep fucking this up.

And it's annoying to re-go through because of all the times you've gotta go deal with the phone and stuff, you can't just skip through smoothly.

Seems like ones made in earlier parts of the game might be alright... so next time I gotta keep multiple saves along the way for each path rather than just saving at the end of each update.

That's hilarious and also extremely exhausting.
I didn't even start playing the last update because I was dreading having to re-go through the game and save at various points for the 5th time and it seems like that is how it's going to be with every update from now on.

Dev is retarded when it comes to saves. He's changing the script in some way (like deleting .rpyc files or labels) or updating Ren'Py.

However, if you keep a save from each previous version, you can still pick up from there. Not ideal, but better than starting from the beginning.

Edit: actually, just checked. The last version is using Ren'Py 8.1.1 and this new version is 8.3.3. So that could also be the reason.
