I'm not usually one to complain about these kind of games but seriously... A few comments regarding the update:
*Disclaimer* I am being harsh on the game not because I don't like it but because I see potential in it and that it can improve. Though it doesn't really help that the dev is making two games at the same time.
- too much exposition. Every character is literally explaining every singe action they do and they tend to be long-winded. Yes VNs are technically text based but don't feel like you have to justify the characters actions. Let the player make their own interpretations.
- irrelevant choices. Currently the only choices in the game are whether you would want to gain points with the character your talking to or not. Basically just a "Do it or don't do it". If there aren't any definite consequences, it's better not to have the choice. There should be a positive or negative impact either with the character your interacting with or someone else.
- Flashbacks. Too many flashbacks. In story writing, if you feel the flashbacks are necessary, then you're better off starting the story from there then do a time skip, not somewhere in between. Flashbacks are best done when your characters already have significant story development. Flashbacks should not be introductions of current characters.
