I read that the mod was integrated in Season 2 and 3 but when I played through Season 1, everyone was family except Eva and Amanda and now it seems that all the girls are clones and Mom and Aunt are now "mother" and "aunt". Not sure how that integrates the mod. Not that I really care, incest is not my thing, but it causes a little cognitive dissonance when you play through a whole section of the game following one narrative and suddenly it changes to something else as if it always was that way, like the MC always knew that the girls were all clones.

The mod never touched the incest part, it was natively integrated into the game since the start.
For Seasons 2 and 3, you need to install the patch and cycle the main menu button that reads Family/Clones to choose which story you want to play. The patch only enables that button now.

Thanks for the response.

So the original story was intended to be clones, I am surmising, based on the need for the patch. Interesting. I generally prefer to play a VN the way the author(s) intended.

This is my third partial play-through. I started twice before but lost the continuity of the plot somewhere in the middle of Part 2 and in each of the previous times I installed the patch. I was like, wait, who are these people? when the whole Amanda/Eva thing came fully into view.

This time I am giving it a proper play-through so I neglected to install the patch. I had seen the button but was unsure which element introduced it. Now it makes sense.

There is no canon playthrough. I thought the game as a "choose your own adventure" book from my childhood, so it's the players who decide what is THEIR canon playthroughs.

I wrote two (somewhat) different background stories because Patreon doesn't accept games with incest and many players want incest in their playthroughs, while others don't want it. I decided to do two cohesive stories that avoid the landlady/roommate/tenant cliche so both groups of players can enjoy the game and Patreon can't complain.

Both stories have their strong(er) points depending on the scenes. Some players prefer the incest and others the non-incest versions, so I think it's something about tastes.

You still needed to apply a patch for the first part, but that patch was included in the mod. For the second part, the mod was integrated into the game as a whole, making the patch the only way to get access to the Family path.

The game always had both the Family and Clones paths embedded in the story, but you could only easily switch between the two starting in Part 2.

Thanks! I do still have a complex question, and perhaps it is cleared up later in the story and if so, just give me a *wink* and I will wait for the reveal.

It seems the report that Jamaal came up with is where the reveal came for the MC that the girls were clones and that his mother might have been assassinated in the plane crash. Almost all through Part 1, the MC went under the assumption that Martha was his mother, and the girls were his sister and cousins, and that Norah was Martha's sister and his aunt.

Now, due to the shift to Part 2 and me not installing the Patch, this is all wrong.

Martha is not his mother, the girls are clones, and Meemaw has stated that she has one daughter (Norah), not two daughters. So who is Martha, and what is her relationship to the MC and Norah in the clone/no incest version of the game?

There are two family trees depending on the patch (some ages are incorrect as the current update) that will explain everything:

so, I'm coming into this game from scratch, so what files do I need for the multimod/wt for the current version?
First, you need to start with Part 1, so you need the all versions mod for that. Part 2 and 3 no longer need anything but the patch file, which is also in the OP, so that should be all you need.

Just remember that the parts are separate. You have to save a specific save from part 1, then import it into part 2. For Part 3, you just need a save near the end of part 2 (have to be in the D&D game at least).

Again, separate folders for the three Parts.

lol, not sure if that's confused me more or less.
I downloaded what I thought was the whole game....do I need to go back and look for a part1 and a part2...the part3 was big enough on it's own.
To be honest I hate these games that don't continue from part to part, but when I need a new game I'll start looking at this one, thanks.

The game is big. Every Season (or Part) is as big as Android (or free download accounts in Mega) allows. 2 GB for Android and 5 GB for free accounts.
Season 3 doesn't allow the player to start a new game.
Season 2 allows it, answering a questionnaire, but you will miss most of the characters' stories that is explained in Season 1.
The recommended way to play it is Season 1 > Automatic save at the end > Import into Season 2 > Play Season 2 until the end > Save > Load into Season 3
