Recommending My Favorite Games & Girls list.

Slightly adapted from a personal convo w yoyo to add it here and maybe get some other thoughts as well

This Top 8 is basically a collection of LIs that made the strongest impression overall. Whether it’s looks, personality, or chemistry with the MC, they’re the ones that noticeably boost my enjoyment of a game.

Yea I get that Bella weirdly has chemistry with the SG MC and that's typically great, except I find him fucking insufferable lol. Admittedly he's become less of an edgelord in the more recent updates so that's promising otherwise I would've prob dropped it (or maybe not cuz the visuals r so damn good).

But sticking with chemistry, that's partly why I love Elspeth from Unbroken so much cuz she also has fantastic chemistry with Valentine. She'd easily be in my personal top 10, prob no.1 tbh. Zorro#34

That said, some of my favorites like Bella, Lea, and Helen are objectively pretty harsh LIs, but they’re also insanely attractive, and yeah… that kind of edge does something for me Same goes for Aurora in Law School.

Ha idk if I'd group Aurora with the others. Def doesn't carry that same dominating, strong presence as the others. Maybe initially but the MC breaks her down pretty quickly and reveals it's a pretty thin facade. Haven't played the latest update yet but somehow she's ended up as my fav, idk why given how it started. Prob her growth

No Jasmine is a crime tho. I'd replace Alice with her tbh, who's also great, but idk she's a bit sweet for me

I’ve started keeping a separate folder for LI screenshots after finishing games. Cleared about 100GB of games last week, can’t be bothered compressing everything.

Also noticed that Alice seemingly leapfrogged Kylie tho, based on ur order of them last year. Was that entirely cuz of the latest update or other things?

The Kylie and Alice duo seems to be the most popular in the game by far - they lead for yoyojrt, for me, for Tony, and for Milton. #3 is where the difference is - Tianna for me, Brie for Tony & Milton, and Afina for yoyojrt.

Well this is another game where I've yet to play the latest update (or I did start it, left off when Tianna comes over and is fixing his face or whatever) so this is mostly as of the third update.

It's funny, if I had a better answer I would've already volunteered it above, but my top TWO are Kylie and Alice in that order and tbd on the third haha

I can't help but feel a little bad for Grace losing the competition to her colleague, especially when the MC calls her in the middle of the night asking for Kylie's number, but what can you do? Kylie is just too good…

To be honest, Summer’s Gone was one of if not the very first VN I ever played. Because of that, I ended up playing a lot more games and eventually found my way to this forum. I don’t know why, but Bella has always stuck with me because of that.

I get you. She was in my previous Top 5 as well, together with Maggie. I do have to admit I haven’t played that game in the past year, which is why they’re not on the list anymore.

The update before this one was more focused on Kylie, while this one leaned more toward Alice. I’ve always liked Alice more though, she just had less content until now.

And to be completely honest, I can change my mind really quickly

To be honest, Summer’s Gone was one of if not the very first VN I ever played.

Ha likewise, I wonder how common that is. I fired up my original download the other month and it was funny to c all the pre-reworked renders. Lot of nostalgia. And that is why you don't delete games after you've played through them!

Shadows Of Ambition

Holy moly, I’ve seen this game pop up a few times, but I had never played a 2DCG game before, let alone one using AI art. I went in with low expectations, but Shadows of Ambition genuinely surprised me in a very good way.

The AI visuals are extremely well executed. I honestly didn’t notice any obvious mistakes, which says a lot. Everything feels consistent and polished, and it really helps with immersion.

Story-wise, this game feels like a refreshing change. It’s original and engaging. Definitely not a generic AVN story, which I appreciate a lot.

The LIs are great, maybe even a bit too great at times, but Andrea does a really good job at keeping things grounded and balanced.

Initially, the kinetic novel aspect was a small downside for me, since I usually enjoy making choices and exploring different routes. That said, the latest update changed that, which is a big improvement.

Overall, Shadows of Ambition feels like a very well-polished and thoughtfully crafted game. My first 2DCG game, but definitely won’t be my last.
