Yeah, they went a little overboard on the MC. I like that this is pretty vanilla in its setting, no NTR, rape, corruption, hypnosis or the like. But holy shit, it looks like it's impossible to make a shy/introverted character without going full Shinji. No one likes a crybaby, and sure as hell no one wants to be in the shoes of one.
