Yes! And reading isn’t cheap. If you had spent your time reading what I said instead of commenting, you would have seen that I wrote word for word that I was going to add what I do in my game little by little. :)
reading isn't cheap? :WaitWhat:

i already read it all. you say you're gonna make a rpgm game similar to games like witcher 3 and admit to having little experience. that's very ambitious and statistically unlikely to happen based on other inexperienced devs making similar ambitious claims (devs with experience are less likely to be overambitious). there a high chance you're gonna abandon the game before the first or second release.

i would scale down the ambition to making a decent rpgm game. that would lower the risk of you abandoning the project because it got too much

A video showcasing an example of the lockpicking feature in the game has been added to 'gameplay > lockpick' in the base message

I'm wondering if this will be playable on mobile phones cuz it's an rpgm game but with all the keyboard and mouse controls required it doesn't seem likely. Well still goodluck on your game.

I think it won't be playable on mobile at first, but I'll try to make it so once it's completely finished

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

And would you've past some times browsing the forum, you would have found dozen and dozen of people like you, promising a game note like all the other one, ensuring that they have all the knowledge it need to do it, and that they aren't like all the other before, because they'll do it.
And I don't even talk about our serial poll maker...

So far, the higher is the promise, the lower is the chance to see a 0.01 version.
Not what I wish you, but there's still something you missed behind what peterppp said: What's the intent for this thread, and for it to be in the general section of the forum?

While you talk about it, you're not working on it.
This while a thread will never be an effective incentive to continue working on it, because too few will be interested by what you've too say. But it's a good way to have a failure at start if those you achieved to hype with your promise are deceived by the result, and by the story.

And finally, while, to my knowledge, none have lockpicking mini games, what you're saying about RPG Maker games is relatively reducing, in top of mostly applying only to Western RPG Maker games, not to games like Summer Memories, to take an example of what top quality RPG Maker games are.

I am almost certain that most people who promised to make good games that stand out from the ordinary have stopped because of people who come and say, for example, 'talk is cheap'. But that's not a big deal, I've already been warned about how F95Zone is!

I promised great things and I intend to deliver them. I promised to make an RPG Maker game based on more advanced gameplay than 'A character with a sword fights monsters and progresses through the story'.

I created this thread so that people can see (if they are interested) the progress of the game I am creating (I wrote above that if this is not the right place, the moderators can move it). Today, I spent 10 minutes on this thread out of the 5.5 hours I spent on my game. So you can be sure that talking here for 10 minutes won't stop me from making progress on the game!

If people are disappointed with the result, too bad for them. I warned that I would gradually add everything that will be in the game to this thread. So, people who follow this thread will have little chance of being disappointed since they will already be aware of the basics (gameplay, story...) of the game

And finally, I never said that there are no good games, and I warned that what will be in this game, which most others do not have, will be what I would have wanted to have

I'm fixing some problems I've had with my parallax mapping and then I'm putting up an image of the interior that will be in the game, so you can see which tilsets I've used and what style the game will be.

If I may be so bold: start small. If your Dunning-Kruger is so bad that you think you can make a game like Witcher 3 in RPGMaker with essentially no experience, I'd strongly suggest making a very small but complete adult RPGMaker game and seeing how it goes.

My guess is that you'll learn that it's very hard to make a small game that works, let alone that has any interesting systems in it, and no less to have interesting systems beyond what RPGMaker comes with already that are any fun. And that's okay! Making a small, functional game is the first step to making the great game you want to make.

But really do just make that small, functional, complete game first. That's how you can figure out if the chore of building a serious, big, interesting game is something you want to do at all.
