We’re Murky Games, and we’re excited to share My Ghost Roommate, a linear visual novel that’s all about heart, heat, and a haunting love story.




Summary

My Ghost Roommate is a short, heartwarming visual novel about life, love, and letting go.
You play as the new tenant in a cozy old apartment—only to discover you’re not alone. Juno, a shy but lovable ghost, haunts your new home, unable to move on from her past. Together, you’ll explore her unfinished business, share awkward dinners, and maybe, just maybe, help her find closure along the way.

Juno
Your ghostly roommate. Shy, sweet, and a little bit clumsy. Juno’s been stuck in the apartment for years, more lonely than scary, and dreams of finding peace (and maybe a friend).

This game was aimed as our first try as a team, so from very start we planned it short yet packed.
Depending on community's feedback, We are planning Holiday Specials and even additions to main story to make it a longer game for a full steam release.

We already working on a much bigger and detailed game which will create development thread in couple weeks.
I hope we can patreon fund that one ^^'

Hello everyone!


First of all, thank you so much for the love and support you’ve shown since My Ghost Roommate released. Juno has really stolen everyone’s heart, and it makes us so happy to see how much you’ve connected with her story.


We wanted to share some exciting news about what’s next:

• Halloween & Christmas Specials
  We’re currently working on holiday-themed bonus episodes! These will be short but sweet new adventures with Juno that celebrate the season and give you more time with her. They’ll have the same warmth and charm as the base story while adding a little festive twist.
• Steam Release
  We’re also preparing a Steam version of My Ghost Roommate! This will include the base game along with the new specials bundled in. Our goal is to release it in the next couple of months (we’ll keep you updated once we lock down the exact date).

We don’t want to spoil too much yet, but rest assured—we’re doing our best to make sure Juno’s world feels alive and continues to grow in meaningful ways.
