Worst kind of gameplay in the making - forced grind for the sake of grind.
Gathering X points just to unlock new grind option to gather X points ain't a gameplay, it's waste of people's time.
"Gonna borrow you some socks" But in like 30 days, okay?
Apparently you need to befriend your friend to buy them... and they cost week worth of your salary.
If not for the grind, this game could be finished in like 10, maybe 20, minutes.
Also, what's the point of having options to pick which can't be used in the first place? Like going to cementary or going to work at night, for example. Or having a job minigame only if you work in the morning.

Enjoying the new update! Some things tho:

-I'm still having issues with the "skip - Unseen text" setting disabling itself (specially in the, ehh ¿"cinematics/cutscenes"?).

-Game still feels very grindy, I didn't mind at first cuz I just used SaveEditor but now the saves seems to have been blocked or something, can't modify them. Either lowering some of the values or just adding a cheat system would work great.
In the first playthroughs is not that bad, but having to grind and grind for every update it's a chore.

Other than that, I think this game promises

Edit: as an example of how grindy it is, one of the "affinity" goals is 500, with the "hold hands" in the morning giving you +20 and afternoon's "pat head" +25, so 45 daily, if my maths are right (I have low iq) you'll need like 11 days or so to reach that goal, and that without mention that you also need money ($30 in quick work each day, to buy some hundred something socks/books every few stages/levels) and also spend time trying to reach the Desire goal (in this case, 450 that you need along those 500 affinity for the next level). You'll need to play like another 10-20 days or so, turning the game into a Carpal Tunnel Syndrome simulator.

Alright, got it. I’ll reply to your comment in parts:

Regarding the use of SaveEditor — I haven’t done anything that would “block” the saves, so I’m not sure what you mean about the program not working.

About the grind you mentioned, like the task that requires 500 affinity and 450 desire — when you reach that point in the game, how much affinity and desire do you usually have by then?
As for the money gain, I don’t think it’s too slow. I’ve increased the chances of the bonus appearing, and when your level goes up, the bonus rewards also increase — so you can earn money faster.

Anyway, that’s it! Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!

-I think the error in SaveEditor was caused by me messing up some affinity values, I tried again and, at least with the dinheiro/money, it works as intended.

-Unless I missed something, the game doesn't tell you how much (total) affinity/desire you have because it goes through levels (which I don't know how much represent, 100exp maybe?), but if you meant to say that it is all "accumulative" then the numbers start making sense. It is a media of 3 days or so to reach the next level, and I run a few tests paying special attention to the numbers and it was less grindy than before lol, my bad g.
Maybe the other ppl also saw it as grindy because of the "huge" numbers? I'd suggest changing the quest objectives to reflect the accumulative aspect of it (e.g. once you reach 360 affinity the objective should change to 140 instead of 500, the former is less scary than the latter).

-About the money: I don't know if "quick work" has level ups and that bonus too or not, but in my playtests I always got $30. And since the money is not accumulative you'll need somewhat like 21 days to reach the $650 outfit. Again, this can be a "me problem"/skill issue and maybe if I play the minigame more often I'd reach the goal sooner. If that's the case then the game is not grindy at all.

Thanks for the corrections and sorry for the stupidity : p

I see. To clarify, I’ll try to explain it in a simple way — maybe this will make things clearer. When you level up in desire or affinity, it’s because you’ve reached 100 XP in that respective attribute. For example, if you’re level 1 in affinity, that means you have 100 XP in total. If you’re level 1 with 50 XP, that means you have 150 total affinity. Level 3 with 87 XP equals 387 total affinity (I think you get the idea).

About the quick work — no, it doesn’t have the bonus feature. The normal job does. It would be too overpowered if the quick work had the same function. The ‘normal’ job is actually pretty straightforward and fast too, and in theory it’s the one that pays off the most. That might be why it’s taking you longer to reach the price of some products.

Anyway, I get what you meant about the numbers looking ‘scary’, but I hope this explanation makes it clearer. Thanks for your comment!
