Worst kind of gameplay in the making - forced grind for the sake of grind.
Gathering X points just to unlock new grind option to gather X points ain't a gameplay, it's waste of people's time.
"Gonna borrow you some socks" But in like 30 days, okay?
Apparently you need to befriend your friend to buy them... and they cost week worth of your salary.
If not for the grind, this game could be finished in like 10, maybe 20, minutes.
Also, what's the point of having options to pick which can't be used in the first place? Like going to cementary or going to work at night, for example. Or having a job minigame only if you work in the morning.

Enjoying the new update! Some things tho:

-I'm still having issues with the "skip - Unseen text" setting disabling itself (specially in the, ehh ¿"cinematics/cutscenes"?).

-Game still feels very grindy, I didn't mind at first cuz I just used SaveEditor but now the saves seems to have been blocked or something, can't modify them. Either lowering some of the values or just adding a cheat system would work great.
In the first playthroughs is not that bad, but having to grind and grind for every update it's a chore.

Other than that, I think this game promises

Edit: as an example of how grindy it is, one of the "affinity" goals is 500, with the "hold hands" in the morning giving you +20 and afternoon's "pat head" +25, so 45 daily, if my maths are right (I have low iq) you'll need like 11 days or so to reach that goal, and that without mention that you also need money ($30 in quick work each day, to buy some hundred something socks/books every few stages/levels) and also spend time trying to reach the Desire goal (in this case, 450 that you need along those 500 affinity for the next level). You'll need to play like another 10-20 days or so, turning the game into a Carpal Tunnel Syndrome simulator.

Alright, got it. I’ll reply to your comment in parts:

Regarding the use of SaveEditor — I haven’t done anything that would “block” the saves, so I’m not sure what you mean about the program not working.

About the grind you mentioned, like the task that requires 500 affinity and 450 desire — when you reach that point in the game, how much affinity and desire do you usually have by then?
As for the money gain, I don’t think it’s too slow. I’ve increased the chances of the bonus appearing, and when your level goes up, the bonus rewards also increase — so you can earn money faster.

Anyway, that’s it! Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!

-I think the error in SaveEditor was caused by me messing up some affinity values, I tried again and, at least with the dinheiro/money, it works as intended.

-Unless I missed something, the game doesn't tell you how much (total) affinity/desire you have because it goes through levels (which I don't know how much represent, 100exp maybe?), but if you meant to say that it is all "accumulative" then the numbers start making sense. It is a media of 3 days or so to reach the next level, and I run a few tests paying special attention to the numbers and it was less grindy than before lol, my bad g.
Maybe the other ppl also saw it as grindy because of the "huge" numbers? I'd suggest changing the quest objectives to reflect the accumulative aspect of it (e.g. once you reach 360 affinity the objective should change to 140 instead of 500, the former is less scary than the latter).

-About the money: I don't know if "quick work" has level ups and that bonus too or not, but in my playtests I always got $30. And since the money is not accumulative you'll need somewhat like 21 days to reach the $650 outfit. Again, this can be a "me problem"/skill issue and maybe if I play the minigame more often I'd reach the goal sooner. If that's the case then the game is not grindy at all.

Thanks for the corrections and sorry for the stupidity : p

I see. To clarify, I’ll try to explain it in a simple way — maybe this will make things clearer. When you level up in desire or affinity, it’s because you’ve reached 100 XP in that respective attribute. For example, if you’re level 1 in affinity, that means you have 100 XP in total. If you’re level 1 with 50 XP, that means you have 150 total affinity. Level 3 with 87 XP equals 387 total affinity (I think you get the idea).

About the quick work — no, it doesn’t have the bonus feature. The normal job does. It would be too overpowered if the quick work had the same function. The ‘normal’ job is actually pretty straightforward and fast too, and in theory it’s the one that pays off the most. That might be why it’s taking you longer to reach the price of some products.

Anyway, I get what you meant about the numbers looking ‘scary’, but I hope this explanation makes it clearer. Thanks for your comment!

Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well!

I’m bringing you a small update today. It’s so short that I don’t even consider it version 0.5, but it does fix several bugs and adds some new content, both for gameplay and for the story, which I think you’ll enjoy.

I want to sincerely apologize for the small update. I had some problems this month that complicated things a lot. Since you support this project, I always try to deliver something that feels worth it. And to be honest, I wasn’t even planning to release anything this month, so being able to put together this little update already feels like a win. I hope you understand.

Now, talking about the update itself:

(To activate the new content, open Clara’s menu and interact to “fuck Clara” while she is transformed into Anne. After doing that, the new tasks should appear.)

If you encounter any issues — especially if the message “wait for the next update” appears even though you have tasks available — please let me know. I updated Ren’Py and I’m using a new logic system to activate tasks, so I’m not entirely sure how everything will behave yet.

I added 2 new cheat codes for Secret Desire members.

I also fixed the gallery issue where it wasn’t working properly. Now, when you pass through a scene that is supposed to unlock a gallery thumbnail, you will actually be able to click the thumbnail and replay the scene. It should be working as intended now. If anything looks off, please tell me and I’ll fix it as fast as possible. Oh, and I also added a new thumbnail.

Two new minigames have been added. They are still at a very early stage, so they’re not fully complete yet.
– The match-3 currently works only as a way to earn money: accumulate points, and they will be converted into money through a calculation.
– The blackjack minigame can already be played, and both its visuals and mechanics are done, but nothing major happens in it yet. It’s basically a beta.
(Feel free to send ideas!)

I also added a new paranoia scene, and it’s a spicy one. I recommend checking it out — it’s worth it. I still plan to expand it, because there’s a lot of potential to explore with Clara in that bathroom situation.
(To activate it: keep your sanity below 6. When Nala is not taking a bath, go into the bathroom and the scene will trigger.
Important note: low-sanity scenes activate a variable that temporarily blocks all other scenes of the same type. To unblock them, you just need to restore your sanity to 88 or higher; once the variable resets, you’ll be able to access those scenes again. After that, simply lower your sanity again and enter the bathroom — everything should work normally.)

There are also new dialogues with new characters who will be explored more deeply in future updates and will serve as hooks for the story. Just follow the tasks and they will happen.

And that’s pretty much it! It’s a small update, but I hope you can still enjoy it.

EDIT: Links removed. They've been added to the OP.

Is there a way to quickly lower your sanity? I want to see the new content, but I kept my sanity maxed, and now can't be bothered to spend a few days lowering it

I got the objective to meet Clara at the cemetery long before I met Clara, it was telling me to show her the book even though she hadn't appeared yet. Also the scene where she does show up is full of error messages though they can be ignored:
Code:
File "renpy/ast.py", line 968, in execute
raise Exception(f"Sayer {self.who!r} is not a function or string.")
Exception: Sayer 'i' is not a function or string.

While running game code:
File "game/script.rpy", line 2039, in script call

Alright, thanks for reporting the bugs, I’ll fix them as soon as possible.

But just to be sure, could you please download the version that was released on my Patreon and check if this error ‘Sayer “i” is not a function or string.’ still happens?

for fucking sake if one selects skip unseen text it should stay selected it should never unselect itself yet it does which means you if you are the creator of this game are fucking retarded as fuck fix your god damn shit
The way you use your words shows how different you are from a retarded yourself. Especially since you think the game creator would wishing themselves good luck.
Or you didn't even bother to check who you were quoting in the reply.
