The game is bugged. There was supposed to drop a fix, but it looks like it gets connected with a bigger update (1.5B or so). The mia glitch (same goes for all these bugs) can get fixed with reloading or restarting the game...

Thanks for the info but it seems like it does not fix the problem on my side. restarting and reloading the game has the same bug. will just wait for the update then. thanks again

   Hey guys, I'm still alive sorry about not posting recently. There's not much to say aside from I'm still working on it! I don't know if I'm going to make it by the end of the month but that's still what I'm trying to do.

I know this isn't the post you guys want right now so I apologize for that. I was scrambling to get everything done before the end of today but there's no way I'm going to be able to finish all the non-content stuff in time. The GUI additions, sound, debugging and edits/polish still need to be finished. Silver lining though is the content side of things is pretty much done. Any more art at this point is just for polish sake to make things flow more smoothly. And the story content is finished.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record I promise you I'm working on the project every day and hope to release it soon. Thank you so much for the continued support, I know it's difficult when you don't see the progress of the game yourself so I truly appreciate it. Yeah I had to back out for this reason. I only contribute to games that release updates monthly, or are made by devs that either develop them as a hobby or already have a track record of completing solid games in a timely manner.

There's a decent chance that Kyle is actually working as hard as he says he is. The problem is that he's just not working very well. Whenever he talks about the game, it becomes immediately obvious that he doesn't really know how to manage a project of this scope. This is why producers are important.

Sounds like hes working with an artist and another coder. Honestly can't fathom how difficult it would be trying to debug previous code whenever implementing brand new coding modules into the entire game. I recall a previous patreon post of Kyle's mentioning additions of different types of minigames and various other features, and that just made me really worried about feature creep and its implications on on RenPy's engine.

No doubt hes working really hard. Just not working smart as you say. Must be a fucking nightmare to detangle and reassemble the code in working order.

ye good thing sites like f95zone exists so i dont have to pay for games with 1 update per year, cant be paying every month with half update a year, instead other games are better to divert my money to with atleast one proper update every 3 months

Yeah, when he decided to break up the current version yet again, instead of releasing V2 it was a huge red flag for me personally.

Nothing against the Dev, maybe he's hustling, maybe he's scamming, either way he's got massive talent. But it doesn't matter if he can't deliver.

Then again, I said the same thing about Radiant and WVM and both of those games make BANK.
