This is more of a hotwife/cuckold/netorare game where the choices seem to point you slightly into more one direction than the other. So, four stars - why? Well, it serves its purpose and doesn't try to be something it is not. The renders are decent, the animation is uneven, but average and the wife is...super cute. Yes, it is subjective, but if you are a fan of petites (and weary of the so, so common big ass/boobs model) this is your jam. While, at times, her face can look weird, other times it is quite fetching. A small frame with perky breasts and super tight ass, yeah baby. She gets into all sorts of situations - most with the knowledge of the husband, but occasionally not. I'm more of a netorare fan than cuck stuff, but this VN skirts the line at times and presents just enough situations with a cute wife to look past some of the more unsavory scenes. Sorry, not gonna kiss the wife with someone else's man juice on it.

So, if you can look past the porn logic and shallow story and ignore the fetishes you don't like - this is a decent VN. The wife is a petite cutie who gets epically railed. If that is your thing then give this one a try.

My Hotwife [v2.4] is an NTS game masquerading as an NTR game, though the only apt adjective/genre I can think of where this belongs is... boring.

First off, the game starts off with the introduction of the MC describing how he completely fucked over their entire life savings, and now has to scramble together money to pay off their various debts. Wife's reaction to all of this (as told by MC) is... that she is supportive of MC and believes he will find a way to get them out of this mess? Excuse me, what the actual fuck?
But let's keep going: one day, MC learns of a "simple & easy" way to earn cash fast - creating homemade porn with his wife. But not just any type of amateur video, he coincidentally comes across the 'hotwife' genre, which sparks a brilliant idea in his mind: to pimp out his wife to random men and record them for the internet.

Since this game takes Porn Logic to the next level (the usual scapegoat of poorly-made VNs), the wife not-so-reluctantly agrees to the idea, and by day 3... she is taking creampies from strangers. Yup.

I don't think I need to say anything else at this point, at least nothing new that the last few reviews mention: there is no build-up to the sharing, the choices are an illusion (the story plays out the same exact way), and the MC turns into a omega-cuck. If that wasn't enough, the game devolves into a voyeur simulator, where the player is forced to watch various scenes of wife just getting steamrolled by every dude she meets. She, quite literally, becomes the village whore. Since there is no build-up or teasing, there is no excitement at all, and it feels like we are observers in someone else's story.
The worst transgression is the story menu - the player is offered various select activities they can perform each day, but this all yet another illusion: you are forced to participate in certain activities at certain times, since the wife essentially dictates where & when she wants to go. Hence, giving the player a menu of choices every day is pointless, as you can't - for example - go to the beach on any day you want... only when the wife (via dialogue that you are probably skipping at this point) says she wants or needs to.

This "game" is a kinetic novel at best, and a glorified gallery simulator at worst - no excitement, no pay off... and no choices.

Storyline:
The narrative, or lack thereof, is another glaring issue. The premise is straightforward: a husband proposes that his wife create adult videos to earn money, and she readily agrees. This sets the stage for her to engage with other men while the husband takes a passive, almost servile role in adapting to her whims. Unfortunately, the story lacks depth, complexity, or emotional engagement. The wife's actions feel unmotivated and disconnected, and the husband's role is so inconsequential that it’s hard to see him as a protagonist at all.

While the game falls into the NTR genre—a genre that can explore compelling narratives of jealousy, vulnerability, and complex relationships—it completely misses the mark. Instead of delivering a meaningful story, the game offers a shallow sequence of explicit scenes with minimal context, making it hard to care about the characters or their dynamics.

Gameplay and Player Agency:
One of the most disappointing aspects is the lack of agency for the player. You take on the role of a protagonist who has no meaningful impact on the story or events around him. He’s akin to an immovable object in the background, passively observing rather than driving the narrative. This lack of interaction and influence makes the experience feel stagnant, as though you’re playing as an irrelevant bystander rather than an active participant.

Graphics:
The visual design of the game leaves much to be desired. The character models are oddly drawn, lacking proportionality and realism. For example, the "Black Lord" character is designed with an exaggerated feature that borders on absurdity—his anatomy seems impractically large, raising the question of how he even moves. Meanwhile, the protagonist's wife has an unusual appearance, with disproportionately large eyes and a small mouth, giving her an unhealthy, almost emaciated look. This lack of attention to realistic or aesthetically pleasing designs significantly detracts from the game's overall appeal. The sex scenes, meant to be central to the game's theme, feel lifeless and mechanical, resembling the clunky collision of wooden figures rather than the intimate, sensual moments they aim to portray.
Conclusion:
Overall, the game struggles to deliver in every major aspect. Its visuals fail to create an engaging or immersive environment, the storyline lacks substance or intrigue, and the gameplay leaves players feeling powerless and disconnected. While NTR as a genre can be polarizing, it’s not the genre itself that’s at fault here—it's the shallow execution. Players looking for meaningful storytelling or engaging visuals will likely walk away disappointed.

3. Started off better, until it became just one click one event that you can replay, almost like the menu that was introduced becomes a gallery feature.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
This review came late, I played this game from initial release where I was enjoying it and then it changed, updates were small, content was little and the game basically changed into a gallery for cuck scenes. Pity.

There are plenty of other games out there that do much more, move on.

Title is misleading as to what this story is about.

It's not a 5 but it's absolutely not a 1. The game tells you as soon as you "open the box" what it's gonna be, and the people complaining are clearly complaining an NTR game turned into an NTR game.

Within this genre, this game is fantastic. It does a Lot of things right. Perfect? No. Great and worth playing / supporting? Yes.

The good:
* Art is actually really hot. There are a few screenshots (including those previewing the game) where she kinda looks like a skeleton, but mainly it all looks great. Especially when things get Shiny.
* Sex scenes are sexy - not too long, not too short (maybe a little short, but not Too short), they have some variety
* There is a safeword. Sort've - there is a button in options that, now that I see it, I don't get why every game doesn't have it - where you can turn humiliation down (or back up) if it gets too much (or little) for you
* The humiliation talk covers all the bases you expect
* The dialog is good - good be filthier for my tastes, but it isn't chaste either. And the characters feel like they care about each other... a bit. A lot of it comes from them saying 'I care about this person', but you can also feel it a bit in the actions
* Power dynamic - at least w/ the humiliation on it does a good job of playing up the MC's wife being in control of the MC while also submitting to others

The bad:
* Empty choices. There are a lot of 'choices' in this game but you realize Very quickly that they don't mean anything beyond changing the next sentence, or showing / hiding a scene
* Flat characters. They're props for a scene, never Quite feeling like people
* Non-optional chastity cage. And what's worse is the game asks you a few times 'do you want to take this off' but its one of those false choices where it goes right back on. NMK and feels like this is one of those kinks that really deserves its own branch
* Weird cheating. This is just a pet-peeve of mine with these games... where the characters have a very open and supportive relationship, but for some reason the partner that's sleeping around just 'cheats' with some characters. Like, the MC is totally 'do it and have fun', she's totally 'watch me do this', and then with a couple of characters she just pretends she's not doing anything. Or even weirder, pretends nothing is happening but then has the MC clean her out anyway. There've been maybe 2-3 games that have done this right, where the character has a talk and says "I'm going to cheat on you and not let you see what's happening because I love you and know it turns you on" (and then regularly teases the MC about it but also checks in - 'hey, are we still cool, we still having fun, this doing it for you?). This game isn't one of those, it just feels kinda like separate routes through a different facet of the kink
* Linear - but pretends it is not. There are 'places to go', but there's only really one good option at any given time, so you just click through them all to find out where you were supposed to be next. And then the meaningless choices that change nothing (or at least feel like they change nothing)... And its fine, VNs are fine, and you do get mild control over which version of dialog you see (or if you want to blind yourself on some scenes)... but it almost gets frustrating to be offered empty choices after a while

So TL&DR... not perfect but one of the better ones, worth the download and making up your own mind, and I'll be following it

The premises were good but it lost appeal quite soon, now it is a nonsense fuckfest without a story or a real choice. there isn't a real progression but just a collection of meaningless events and dull situations. The game is not bad and I liked the wife characterization but now it's not funny anymore.

There are several choices you get to make, whether you push her as a supportive partner or as a sub cuckold. Yet both paths end up at the same place of her demeaning the MC for the fetish of it.

It started fine , you're basically doing it for money and with a minimum of choices and ofr course getting into that lifestyle gradually . Very nice NTR Game for those who like this genre. You can go full humiliation mode if you want to make the cucking more extreme. While the wife character is significantly slimmer than I prefer, I felt the renders are exceptionally good, and I enjoyed the concept and attempt at a sandbox approach. I have to say "attempt," though, 'cause this sucker's on RAILS. There is one path through the game, and nothing you do matters. I briefly played an early version and was excited to see a map screen... but no. You'll do what the game wants you to, in the order it wants you to, or it won't let you do anything at all.

You'll occasionally be offered a choice, but it never matters at all what you pick. Slightly different dialog and that is all she wrote for this one. With the heavy NTR emphasis, that ol' beanpole wife character is more or less the only game in town, and if she doesn't do it for you...probably not the game for you.

The gallery system is well done, though. At any time, you can replay the sex scenes you've visted on that playthrough. And the sex scenes are well laid out, so there's a bit of variety to the feel of them, which is important in a game like this. That nonexistant gameplay is still real hard to get behind, however. The art is strong enough that I'll check it out in a year or so and see if there's an actual game in there, but I'm not really all that curious or hopeful.

This game really exceeded my expectations. To be honest, at first, I didn't really like the appearance of the female protagonist based on the promotional pictures, but after finishing today, I found the game content to be very exciting. The author really understands the psychology of cuckold, and the players have a great sense of immersion because it's the first time, and it's getting better and better. The plot is also powerful, and the modeling is also good. It can be considered one of the most outstanding Netorase games I've ever played. Looking forward to the next update.
