So wait, I just had a thought. I don't know how viable it is, because you'd think more people would be doing it, but... What if you made a Patreon page that was unrelated to this project? Kind of like how some people make an "incest patch" that's not released on the Patreon, but in this case it'd be the entire game. The Patreon rewards would include Patron-level Discord access, and the Discord would be where you talk about the game and stuff. I know the Patreon ban wasn't the primary reason you cancelled the project, but it might be worth considering. Especially since, as I said before, the idea that the genre is oversaturated is becoming less and less true specifically because of the aformentioned bans.

Every time I get to a scene with motion every frame causes a 'style not found' issue and I have to hit ignore until I'm passed the scene, which can be like 50 presses. Any one else had that issue?

Scenes with motion? I don't think there are any in this game.

Motion may be the wrong term since it's hard to tell with all the errors but it's like a basic flip book style (up down up down up down) and each time the image switches I get the error :/ first time it happens is in the nurse dream sequence but it happened in the hospital again, each time the seems to be a sex 'scene'

You could use itch.io to make money, and maybe subscribestar or something. Patreon isn't the only platform.

Dear friends,

I am very sad to announce that I have come to the difficult decision to stop the project. There are a few reasons for this conclusion. Firstly, as you know, I can no longer afford to buy art. We had considered generating AI art based on the work of Domino, our artist, but after further tests, I realized that the quality of the AI-generated art is still subpar.

Secondly, upon reflection, I realized that while this game would have been fantastic for 2017, it doesn’t hold the same appeal in 2024. The market is now saturated with a massive number of games, many created by AI, and the landscape has changed significantly. Additionally, our Patreon account has been banned. Although this isn't a major issue, it did cut off a portion of our income. Subscribestar remains an option, but I have put it on vacation mode so that no one gets charged for a year, during which I will figure out how to close the account.

The only reason to continue with this project would be your enthusiasm and support, which has always meant more to me than financial backing. This is why the Discord server is now free for all, but the project itself can be considered abandoned.

I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause. I'm not the first person to abandon a project midway, and I had hoped I wouldn't be in this position, but here we are. Thank you for the amazing chats on Discord and for appreciating the game.
