Funny how the new devs are trying to throw old devs under the bus ("they made a game which could not be completed, boo-hoo") when the new devs themselves broke old content that was working and eventually got rid of it.

Like, 80-90% of all projects are unfinished or ruined and abandoned clusterfucks like this, makes me feel like Alex Johnes was right or something and they put something in the water to make everyone go retarded..

The bad news is that yes, 90% of all the new games get abandoned nowadays. The good news is that there are something like 15 times the number of new games nowadays, so that we actually get more completed games than a decade ago.

Uh, not really. I mean, maybe if you're only familiar with western titles, but i've been playing H games for a good 15+ years and in the past decade their count hasn't really changed, with the majority of them, especially the completed ones still coming from Japan. If anything, if you account for flash games dying, there's actually less stuff being made now. The non Japanese h game market grew a lot, yes, but the vast majority of it is uncompleted and/or shit projects that don't go anywhere and i don't even know if you can count that as an increase, and if you can, to what degree. DLsite almost has more completed projects added each year on average than all the new projects i see on here yearly and that never go anywhere and the ones that do combined, so yeah, its kind of a cursed scammer pit.

update: curiosity got the best of me and wow.. they really butchered the main character... i mean the original models were not that great but jesus this one makes those look like masterpieces, and all these characters have this almost cartoony appearance to them and this horrible faces, it looks horrible, the only good thing is that the game runs perfect i guess?.. animations are sorta whack, the stance is goofy and her hands go through her legs, i couldn't play it for 10 minutes because it grossed me out that much.

If this is the "vision" for the future this game is cooked.

Worst of all on paid platforms your being mislead because they didn't even bother to disclose the fact they reworked EVERYTHING and none of the videos or screenshots represent the current 0.9 product, still shows prior versions when it was about succubus and corruption, and lot of the reviews are complaining about the fact they got this trash instead of the old game.

Granted this is apparently a "new game" called eyes on me, and they reverted it back to the old MLW on steam anyways due to backlash, if anyone believes that excuse that it was never suppose to be a update to MLW, if that was the case they wouldn't be calling the game MLW to begin with and the same mc, still but i digress.

better off waiting a few years for Deluded too finish i guess.. at least they wouldn't so something so stupid as to completely scrap the game they had and remake it in "name" only and confuse and alienate people who support it. knock on wood.

Yes but as i mentioned they only did it AFTER people got furious with the game they paid for seemingly being erased, Not to mention it not what people paid for in the first place, they basically started a whole new game and scrapped the previous one, had this been a kickstarter that would of been an immediate breach of trust.

Well I did not say that all was good. Just added what was said in the game page on steam. They fucked up big time in my opinion, and throwing it all on the original dev is shitty. I wouldn't give them a dime after this.

From the way they talk, they're just kinda stupid ngl. Apparently they ran polls and everything through their discord, that's why they decided in the rebranding. But who knows, could be a lie. I'm just saying at least they're talking, even though it's a huge and embarrassing fuck up. Because most adult game developers just give up and go dark lol

I don't even believe the idea there were polls and if there were not many people knew about them and certainly not the actual supporters and people that bought the game on steam from what i have gathered, it was all radio silence. I also refuse to believe lot of the actual people who wanted the intended game that was about succubus and magic/corruption would be so gung ho as to accept a COMPLETELY new shift in direction to a social media slut game, i know i wouldn't that's for sure.

And that is exactly the kind of shit you would hear about on a kickstarter scam, IF My Lust Wish wasn't a red flag before with how little progress it made since the old devs got booted then completely abandoning the premise all together and starting over certainly is and if i was a supporter i would be furious.
