I personally really liked the POV switch because it allows you to understand the characters better. You, as a reader, don't just see the reactions of the characters(in case of one person pov), but also the train of thought.
This update has shed some light on Vi's fetishes and desires(though some questions still remain). As I've written before, the POV switch in this update has made Vi truly one of the main characters - she's a standalone character, not an appendix to Eric.
Anya's branch of sexual liberation runs parallel, and she and Eric will probably only cross paths near the end. And what's the point of rushing if her journey is going to be just as exciting? Ari is also perfectly revealed in Anya's POV. I expected a lot less from Ari, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Such an approach allows CG to write the story rich in events(of many different genres) and depth without boring or overwhelming the reader. I treat the game as a book and follow the development of characters with interest.
I understand that this approach may be unusual to some people, just try it without relying on experience from past games.
