EDIT: Actually, apparently the game appeared again in the latest update section by error. Had nothing to do with CG, not sure why it's even there. Silver update apparently had already been leaked. So there were 0 changes, just an error made by F95 admins/mods.

to be fair, the dev spent some time denying that the game was gonna be a BBC fetish game, which even at the time was obviously not true. don't know why he couldn't be honest about it.

He hasn't lied about anything, he said the game would include some amount of BBC tropes but those tropes would be A) not standard, and B) not the sole focus. Both of these remain true.

A lot of people are making a lot of assumptions without knowing what's actually set to happen. Or are creating their own fan fiction (including you, btw) for what they want/don't want to happen.
