RPGM - My New Life: Revamp [v0.953] [Beggar of Net]

This was a disappointment. I had barely made it out of the tutorial and I had already had to restart 3 times because the game had broken or crashed on me. Add in an annoying timed race to the school with no idea where I was going and having to start back from the beginning every time I failed and all the usual annoyances/tediousness of using RPGM to make a VN; and I gave up on this pretty quickly.

MC is your typical virgin/loser kid with a giant cock. Everyone you meet is either instantly enthralled by you and clearly wants to fuck or hates you and kicks you in the balls at the drop of a hat. The language and dialogue is decent. Above average for an ESL game but not written by a native speaker.

I also didn't like the art much in the game, but that is more personal taste. What was not obvious to me from the thumbnails, is that the dev clearly has a 'type'. Every girl or woman I met in the game had the same body shape; regular proportions for everything except massive boobs and super thicc thighs. That's not my kink and also the different proportions made them not look human. Games that make the MC look like a small, 15 year old boy are a turn off for me and looks especially bizarre when paired with the full grown women that inevitably lust after him.

It's too bad. Most games that are this bad, its because the dev hasn't put enough effort into them, but that is not the case here, I don't think. And apparently there is a fair amount of content in the game, I just couldn't be bothered to get to it. If the stability/bugs get ironed out and you're a fan of the body-type, it may be worth trying at some point.

I personally love this game!
not just because of the story, but also it has a deep background.
the creator has been gradually learning and improving both, in the story and in the gameplay and that is admirable under my point of view.
While it is true that there are some things that could be improved I think it is a game that deserves to be at the top of the lists
for me is so underrated but time will give the creator the value that he deserves.

Hands down, one of the best adult games that exists and my personal favorite. Hours of gameplay, extremely hot and sexy characters, models are unique and different from the usual fare due to using Klub17 instead of the overused Daz3D or HS, fun story, and the game updates at a consistent pace which is something very few game devs manage to do.

The old version was great, but theREVAMP version is even better and has long since surpassed the old. Beggar of Net has created a real gem, and it gets better and better with every update. So much content, he really dedicates himself to putting out quality content. It's awesome. He's a dev that genuinely deserves support. I look forward to every new update and see what girls he features.

rly fun to play (a few translation mistakes, but nothing to drastic), +15 hours of content so far and a lot of enjoyable scenes, only thing causing to be a problem are a few bugs for example lucy's storyline where i cant trigger a scene somehow or a error where i couldnt reenter beths house at night to do her mission (hope these will be fixed in the future) but its a great game nonetheless

Hello, my congratulations on this wonderful game. Too bad the hero as a gang member could not go further in the management of such women as prostitution and some slaves. Of course it is only a wish being given that I will never allow myself to criticize the work of all these developers who make us have such a pleasant time.

The characters are hot, their arts is great and the interactive sex system is nice. The story is not the best in the world but is more involving than I'm used for adult games, without becoming a book saga where you sometimes sees titties. There are some bugs but as far as I am concerned, everything else compensates for it

An impressive amount of content and BoN has done some great animations. That said the great content is locked behind frustrating gameplay. If there's another mission where I have to move boxes around or get from A to B in x amount of time I'll go crazy.

Slow, buggy and the renders are very low quality. The quality of writing and English is also very average. It's just a mess no one should play.

For the love of god devs, PLEASE don't use RPGMaker if you are not actually making an RPG. It just ruins the experience for a more linear VN (which you should use Ren'py for!)

22.05.2021: Harem build out of 100 side characters. I'm done with the game. Deleted my saves. Maybe some day i'll come back to it if complete but doubt it.

In short: Complete flop on Daisy. BoN is rushing into oblivion.

Longer retrospective:
How do you even begin...If you are reading this then you know about the two versions of the game. I can't describe each of them separately. (If you think otherwise that's your problem.) The original was grandiose. Compared to other patreon sex games MNL was a breeze of fresh air. It was really big. Instantly you knew how many sweat and work was put into it. From the very beginning you immersed yourself into the life of the main hero. Through his eyes you engulfed yourself into this new big city you got thrown into. Each day you discovered new girls, opportunities, nooks and crannies of the city, it's intricacies. Your horizons broadened.
That was biggest asset...the game's pacing. It was perfect. Here you get the feeling of chunks being added one upon the other...some of the content we recognise and some feels new...and unnecessary.
Mind you i have to add that i experienced the original MNL just before Jack's Story.. I got to play it as a whole without the monthly breaks. So my perception might be different then yours in that way.
-The original had to be followed with a strict guide. The game was bugged or so they said. Biggest emphasis was put on the bugs...I had no problems(thanks to the people for puting the walkthrough together)...Yet here we are with the revamp being filled with them. Each update the same pattern. Some things work some don't. The revamp was supposed to be a complete revitalization. It isn't. The bugs make the short updates look even shorter...

+This time around the dev implemented a hint system. Step by step we are being told what to do.

-The original version's dick contest was my favorite story. That slowly creeping revenge against the cool kids. Unfortunately the revamp lacks that. The contest happens fast and is unsatisfying. Also why are we limited to the actions we can take during the party?

-In my opinion Daisy was the best girl in the original game. Period. She was the last girl to conquer. The mayor's daughter, the star cheerleader and biggest bitch in school. You got to know her better and help her. In return with time she opened up to you. It was a sense of accomplishment. Each day after schoold i would rush into her house and bang her. In the revamp Daisy is the biggest failure. Her story content is just copy pasted. Just finish one, two, three...done. This time the fight for her heart looks different...You win her over by flooding her with expensive gifts...That's it. Definetly Daisy deserves more storyline.
I wish there was more rivalry between Daisy and Shirley.

-What is the biggest downfall of a harem game? Useless bloatware, content and lazy writing. BoN just keeps adding unneccesary girls. More girls to sack and forget about their existence. The plotline should progress through thrilling interactions between as little characters as possible. Making it morememorable. What is the point of the stupid grandma and Michelle. Seriously. Or all those hospitals scenes we can't return to.
For example updates 0.83. The Amy story was absurdly short. Instead we got sex with Rosy, Michelle and Joanna. Earlier we got Yahaira. Why does BoN feel pressured into giving every girl we meet an interactive sex UI...I would gladly sacrifice some of the sex for content with the girls we already are familiar with!
Thus the main plotline progresses at a slime's pace...

-Four mafias...and how does BoN imagine it to work? Release four different updates each time for each group? Nonsense. We can already see it fail miserably. In the original Nasrot had a base with a whorehouse in development that we (i guess) could manage. That's four different game mechanics.Are we supposed to manage four different game saves? There also was a shemale side character with her own storyline available only for Nesrot. That was it. In here so far nothing. I had no problems picking a side thus killing two other girls, couse i didn't feel attached to any of them.

-The fighting was cut. No tournament, no LadyX sex scene. (I remember how i edited my save file to change my affiliation from Nesrot to Warren just to fuck LadyX during the tournament. And then back to Nesrot.) Why i'm mentioning this? That was the finalization of you as a made man. You learned to kick ass, beat your rival and became finally someone important. You earned the respect. Now out of nowhere you get a gun into your hand and suddenly everyone is afraid of you...

-The sex scenes are boring. I don't understand it. Every girl should have different erotic lingerie. So little effort to make the game better.Pantyhose, stockings, body suits, corsets, thigh high socks, body pieces,lacy bras on breasts during intercourse, high heels, latex and leather thigh boots. All in different patterns and colors. That way we memorize the girls, feel hooked and cling back to them.
-There should be more positions during sex. We keep seeing the same thing over and over again. They are your instruments to progress the plotline. Instead they sit there doing nothing and we feel sorry for them. Make repetable sex scenes in different parts of the town accentuated by story progression.
-The original gave us an incentive to attend school. During the breaks we could have anal sex with any of the girls or teachers we "dated". It was a unique scene different from the UI ones. Now that is missing in the revamp. BoN SLOWLY implements it for some of the girls, but back then we had much more girls in school.
Wish: I want to see the MC open up his own strip club. Make him hire all the girls in his life as strippers. New storylines for each to sway them into working for you. Different themes for each day of the week to lure the customers. They could dress up as cheerleaders, bunny girls, race queens in leotards, moulin rouge etc. And you should earn the money and buy stuff for each separately. Upgrade the club: nuru massages, vip rooms, alcohol. Hire stuff. Pay for the dancing lessons. Increase their stats. Unlock better clients. Use the girls to seduce and gain info from officials. Use it to gain control of the city. An actual progress. Make me run the game every day. Get my idea? What's the point of adding more characters to the game if they are useless afterwards.
Someone mentioned that the menu dancing videos are better content then the game itself

+In the original in order to unlock new sex scenes you had to repeat earlier ones several time...It was the biggest choir ever. Five times hand job then five titjobs, honey munching, bj, pussy and lastly you unlocked anal. One action for each day. And smash the bloody keyboard...You would run from one girl to another all day long. I had to memorize which girls i'm seeing and were they live. It was a nightmare. Here you just have to do one to unlock the next. Time saved. Case closed.

-Babysitting jobs should be available all week long not only at weekends.
-I went to Helen at 11 am...and left her at 0:30am! Too long. Sex scenes should be one hour long...Dates two tops.
-We don't get to drive around in a car anymore.
+The whole youtube thing was removed...maybe for the better...it was kinda childish in my opinion. You earned lots of money with little effort.

+The dating system is the biggest new mechanic added since revamp. A correct way to simultaneously interact with the city and the girls. This should accompany every girl we encounter. BoN prepared a up to five different sexual encounters for each girl per date. This has to be mentioned.
Just the absurd duration time as mentioned above should be shorter. You go on a date at 9:00 pm, come out 4:30 am...I guess the dev doesn't want us to go on several dates in a single night.
-Also back then you felt the day's worth upon your shoulders. You felt the MC was tired and needed to go to sleep at 11PM...here not so much...

+All that's left is the story. It is still good , mainly couse it's copy and pasted from the original. Your just a kid with a big schlong that got pushed into adulthood to fast. Desperately trying to find yourself in this new dangerous setting while trying to experience the school life.

-May favorite scenes of the original:
1 Daisy
2 Fucking Sarah at school when she was stuck in a hole looking for pokemon cards.
3 Shemale threesome with the blond cheerleader.
4 The russian shemale.
The revamp has way less shemale content. On the other hand the original scenes were nonrepetable. Hope to see more.
+The gallery system was added. Now you can repeat the earlier scenes to your heart's desire.

The tragedy. After Jack's story which is written very good, the future of the game looked bright (we even got our own sim apartment for mom to build). Patreon thought differently. BoN was presented with a tough decision to make. Continue on unpopular subscribestar or cut the incest. We will never know what it was like in his shoes. I personally would continue without incest on patreon and do seperate content on subsribe star.
We would seduce our sisters and mom. We would unlock spicy scenes at home. It brimmed with lots possibilities to interact with them for each time of the day . We started to care for each other. You would help the girls set their lives straight. Progress was visible. Now that's all gone. We got robbed of it.

Unfortunately i don't feel attached to the current version. BoN just rushes content to appease his fanbase. The pacing is gone.The game feels like it was put together in a rush from broken pieces . With each month it is more lacking. People keep repeating this. I don't know what he wants to achieve. I feel like he is stuck in a rut and wanders aimlessly...How much time he spends on the project. Does he still care? Or maybe after all those years our expectations made us sour. We keep clinging for some reason unto memories of the past...
Now we know how censorship kills the artistic vision.

A grindy, bug filled, nonsensical RPGM mess that isn't worth your time.

From the opening title screen (that is laggy) you can immediately tell this game is going to disappoint.

Whether you are a fan of RPGM games or not, much of the time I played the game play was so linear to the point it made no sense to use this game engine. You have a big game world with a bunch of characters you mostly can't interact with that only serve to create a maze for you to work through to go on your very linear on rails experience.

What game play there is, isn't worth your time. Like a mini game where you put books on shelves, but the shelves are right next to where you are getting the books from.

The pay off is some mediocre cliched sex scenes that slowly build up and are too few and far between to be worth it.

The game also has a laughable story and there are numerous egregious grammatical errors (a few is no big deal we all make them, but they are to the point it ruins the dialog). The game also switches randomly between Spanish and English at times.

Let's start this off by saying; if this game had perfect English writing it would be one of my absolute favorite porn-games out there. There is an enormous amount of content, a few fetishes/kinks in its sex scenes and pretty appealing art style (at least I really like it, maybe it's not for everyone). The story is a bit silly and unrealistic, but you weren't coming to a game like this for realism were you?

Things can be a bit more grindy than I like so I used a save editor and just messed around, which was a fantastic time. There is so much to do and so many characters to meet (and fuck) you could play this for hours and hours without unlocking even half of it.

Now I know this is a remake of the original game with the same name, and I had played that game for quite some time as well. This 'revamp' as it's called is quite nice I think. I hope it continues to receive regular updates until its completion.

Highly recommended if you want a small amount of background/story with your tantric sexy times. 4/5 I hope the developer finds a new or secondary writing editor to help make the game's English better, I've frequently found myself rewriting some of the dialogue just to enjoy it a bit more

models aren't even good. compare to game like peasant's quest the art is subpar.
the game only redeeming point is its storyline but it takes lots of boring grind to advance.
the npc are plenty but not interactive. Dev should really invest some time to create filler conversation for NPC when their are not in MC's questline.

This game is made with RPG Maker? yes, but that's fine! Otherwise it would be too difficult to put all the content it has, the game is great, you can practically fuck all the girls you meet and if you find a girl and you cant fuck her doesnt matter because you will sure fuck her in the future!

One of the best game out there. You need the cheat mod waaay too grindy without but it is an awesome game with it tons of content not as much as the original yet but less bugs and the story make more sense

it has an amazing start and progression the story in something i actually got lost in (in a good way) i love most of the characters and absolutely haaate others cause of the story it makes me wanna go into the game and strangle certain antagonist overall its a good game the main draw back is the bugs you have to make sure you have the patches to minimize the bugs happening

The game looks very nice, and it runs pretty smooth. But the bugs are unbearable. There are so many glitches and bugs all the time. Black screens, freezing, the game also randomly switches to Spanish for no reason. There is a bug fixer, but whenever a bug happens you can't activate it, so it's useless.
The game is also very random at times. In fact, I've encountered a bug that doesn't let me progress the main quest, a image is failing to load, now I don't know what to do.
Sometimes you're starting a quest, then after you just start talking to the person they're asking for virgin semen, or they offer you a handjob, it's a very inconsistent dialogue. Also, the school quests are very very very redundant. For example, someone asks you to talk get some item. Then you'll have to end recess to get the item, but you're still in school, yet you cannot talk to them until the next recess in the next day. Why can't I just talk to them around the school? It's such a colossal waste of time all the time.
Another thing that annoys me is the computer. If you want to go back to the menu, you have to close the whole thing and open again, after the 100th time you do this it starts to piss you off. The pc UI is also straight up unusable without a mouse.
Despite having a chaotic writing, it's a pretty funny game, I don't die laughing, but you can't deny the humor in it. The sex scenes look very nice, sometimes the models spasm in crazy ways, and the dancing scenes look very goofy, but it looks nice overall. I also like the various references to other games and to shadbase comics.
Honestly, if this game had a better/quicker way of checking active quests without opening and closing a thousand screens all the time, and not have som many bugs, I'd give 4 stars. One more thing, the music in the school grounds is very obnoxious, if possible I'd like for an option to change songs during the play through.

I recognise all developer's effort to this new version, buti have to say that this new version is a lil bit disappoint to me cause it destroyd the best stuff in the old version: the freedom! This is the reason the game was on of my favs so far. I like the feeling i can control how the story goes, this way i can feel i'm really inside the game. The new version has a better story, better renders and the map and the phone are good adds, but nothing compares to the fact that i could decide when start and finish all Jobs/quests in the game. I was a patreon, but i am no longer because i lose the interest in this game. Sorry for my bad english, and i hope the developer bring back the freedom to this game.

I have played this from the very beginning, before it was revamped. Since it has been out for a long time, it has very little new content. You would expect there would be a lot considering how long it has been out, it is disappointing. As well the female characters are really overdone in the boob department. The two legged human cow look is really not interesting, the animations as well need improvement. So basic in many ways it gets boring fast.
