Besides Spider and Butterly, it turns out that Reika Mission got... updated/remade? I didn't even recognize it from what it was before (low quality).

The quality, both content and animations, seems to have improved with the update. You can now choose to call your gf every 'day' or optionally check up on her at any moment via a glitchy video feed. The video feed could be more obscuring imo but it is what it is.

But it also seems (at first) that some days repeat word-for-word except for a little variation, usually at the end of the day when you check on your gf sleeping in bed. I thought I was stuck in a loop until I made sure to check every option every day. After doing that, the days progressed.

Looks like a major upgrade over the kinetic novel take of it originally.

As for spider and butterfly the light mechanic was a bit weak except for a few segments where the girl gets kidnapped and you have a timer to find her. It has been a while though. I think it is more of an honorable mention type game than a main list one just off of memory alone but I could be wrong, will have to replay it to be sure.

Rain Monster got released, played the first demo and it looked perfect for this list. Though I do remember the prologue section took like an hour to finish so I imagine the game is going to be pretty hefty.
