I grow tired of Games where everyone is either having an orgy, or bangs anyone and anything, in an NTR Game. It is fine if the Player sees the scenes, not the Protagonist. That is kind of the point, to me.

I would assume the "Viewer" is the Protagonist, since the Protagonist kind of acts like a "Camera".

Could be both. But usually you see what the MC sees, wich is blurred or hidden, and then you have the opportunity to see it in full as a player. So I'd say they meant the MC.

For the purposes of this thread it is explicitly YOU the person playing the game that has a restricted view, even if it is shown clearly later, that matters. If a person in the game has a restricted view but the player can see it in full from the get go then it isn't the intended type of game this thread is tracking.

This thread was made for that distinction as opposed to the other hidden ntr thread that's scope grew so broad it included hidden from any person within the work. Haven't played it yet, though I have it downloaded just haven't had the time, but if you can see it in full then it belongs more in the other thread than this one. From the preview images I was thinking it would fit here as it clearly shows a silhouette scene but can't be sure until I play it.



Speaking of that I want some others in the thread to weigh in on something. With that criteria do people "censored porn" is a fit for this thread. Something like this

Thanks for clarifying. How do you view games that give the option to view scenes but without a requirement to do so? In the game we were discussing, I believe (I could be wrong) all the netorare content is gated behind player decision so if you wanted to do a run where the player is oblivious, you can (at least at the moment).

If it has multiple routes and at least one of them is focused on the restricted view then it still counts as you can play the game in such a way that it fits the thread theme.

I don't hate certain storylines like that. The "dude romances a girl that is secretly the town bike" isn't bad if it is a mystery game. More about slowly finding out she is a whore than her turning into one. Night School Festival: What happened to my childhood friend During Summer Vacation is a good example though I wish it was longer and the art was a bit better.

I have exceptions I like but most of them is just a lazy way to avoid western story taboos like corruption/rape and other noncon. I get what you mean, but imo, Kazaim was referring to the new game NTR:Felare, for which I am not of the opinion that his criticism holds. There are some forces, corrupting forces, which are very horny, but the story still centers the BF and GF, and has a corruption angle. It's a collective effort coming from different sides (both sorority people and friends of the GF), but I don't think the criticism holds for NTR:Felare. IMO a honest breath of fresh air.

There have been some pretty good games in the last year, amidst the slop and the glorified tech demos, but a lot of them tended to go more in the NTS direction. NTR:Felare is, for me at least, finally a return to form when it comes to focusing on NTR. I personally recommend it if you haven't played it yet.

When they do not, it is either poorly done, and also at times, where they shoe-horn in NTR into Vanilla or etc H-Games. Almost like NO ONE knows what the fuck they are doing, or that they do not have an actual direction and vision. Or worse, they are trying to cover many audiences/consumer base at the same time, without actually satisfying anyone at all.

My comment was absolutely not meant as a harsh direct critique, my apologies! (also, English is my second (or third) language, so there's a possibility my phrasing was harsher than intended!) It was mostly to highlight aspects I liked about NTR:Felare, which is, in many respects, a very western NTR game, but, imo, amidst the truly great barrage of slop, a pretty good first release of a game in progress. It's very different from the non-western NTR games I've played, but I liked it, and I can't lie about that.

Most of the non-western NTR I consume are doujins/Hentai Manga, and I tend to favor VN and Kinetic Novels over RPGM's, so my experience with the latter category is pretty limited.

As someone very interested in the genre, but, in many respects, still a beginner (only been playing games for the last two years), what are some (mystery) NTR games that you recommend?

It has similar split-screen NTR event stuff like "My Girlfriend Advanced to the Dancer Class and She Buffs Everybody" (as in Hidden from the MC but not the player). Additionally, the female lead can also get sexxed mid-combat and the MC conveniently fails to see it happen (dirt thrown in eyes, pushed into a bush, etc.).

Personally, despite having some great content, I don't like it because said content is mixed in with cartoonish bestiality and optional shota.

To explain it differently, the content besides those two things is great... but you can't really enjoy a cake if someone mixed poop from a butt in it.

Here are my ratings for each timeline:

- Our Old Bully: The OG timeline. Long. Female lead is immediately enamored and becomes slutty.

- Her New Friend: Medium length. Female lead is ditzy and gets convinced to do a porn photo shoot.

- A girl she's taking care of (futanari branch): Longest length, the best one, 100000/10. Female lead gets taken by a futa girl. LOTS of oblivious MC moments. Multiple possible endings (you choose).

- Liam's Father: Short (unfinished?). Didn't really read it.

- A teacher from our old high school: The teacher secretly trains the female lead to be an ideal housewife. Not my cup of tea but others might love it.

- Sarah's Father: GOOD writing despite what it is (incest). Female lead is ditzy. Competition for who "the man of the house" is.

- A boy I used to bully: Extremely long, has many branching paths unlike the other timelines. Female lead slowly decides (read: actually chooses, not coerced or anything) to love the good meek neckbeard over MC, who is an actual jerk. Not my kink.

- Two of Sarah's cousins (futanari branch): Same author as the other futa branch. Also extremely good, would recommend.

- Sarah's penpal, fresh from prison (BBC/raceplay route): Currently unfinished and lowkey sucks. Nine chapters total of slow-burn build-up but no sex yet.


... Again, CHYOA.com is full of great stories.
