Ren'Py - Mythic Manor [v0.21] [Jikei]

Very high qualtiy game and one of my favourites. The setting and story are very original and good, along with the writing. But the renders are amazing with the girls being varied and all very attractive. This game isn't just very good right now, but it has the potential to become even better. I hope to see a more fleshed out story for the characters though, maybe some flaws to them as they all, although they all have good stories already, are kind of 2-dimensional, but it's a great game.

I really love this game as the story is really well explained, the menu is easy to use and the characters are really deep, in more ways than one Thats why I am giving it 5 stars! And I would do it again!

I just can't stop coming back to this game, it stands out above the rest for me personally. It has a wide range of girls in different shapes, sizes and personalities that also all come with a decent variety of fetishes. The dev is great and adds a decent amount of content each update. Can't wait for 0.5, and the future beyond that considering the massive amount of content already in the game. Great game! Good history, great caracters, art and animation, very well developed. Making this game one of my favorits. The thread also is very self explanatory, all info in place, censorship, walkthrough, version, update, change-log and all very plain and simple.

[Rev @ V0.4] I very much enjoyed the tone, plot, and characters. Plot pacing manages to strike a balance between 'not too mired in minigame micromanagement' and complete linearity that kept me interested. Gets to the point without a million stupid sidetracks but is more interesting than "he honked her tit twice and she was his sex slave forever". None of the girls were annoying. Thanks be to the dev for making curvy designs without going overboard.

Do want more girl/girl and group content, hopefully beyond "and then all the girls lined up on my bed with their asses in the air for their meatshot". False harems annoy me and it'd be a shame for such a promising game to fall into that.

It is an excellent game with plenty of content even this early...

Each of the girls has a different personality and you can feel connected with every one of them without feeling bored...

There is a money system but there's no need to sit and farm for money too much; you don't need too much to progress with some of the stories...

There are some stories/side stories that require you to think and explore a little bit, and these "puzzles" or information gathering are quite interesting, preventing you from getting bored...

The profile system is nicely designed to minimize confusion; you are given hints that are not too hard or too easy. So far, you can even focus only with 1 or 2 girls without ever being in contact with the others (but you may need to progress equally to trigger some events).

Last but not least, my favorite system is that you can repeat an event after you've done them from the 'esc' menu; this will eliminate any unnecessary save scumming that some people would feel too bothersome.

I have to say that while I acknowledge the possibility that Mythic Manor might not have the best graphics it's still one of the games that I enjoy the most. It has a good level of appreciation for genuine characters that are enjoyable in their own way. The developer seems to have put effort into creating personalities along with adding a certain uniqueness to the characters themselves.

It has never felt tedious to play this game.

If I had to describe Mythic Manor with a single word, then that word would have to be 'promising'.

Mythic Manor is brimming with potential, in every nook and cranny of its wonderful world, in every character interaction, and in every erotic scene it throws your way. Most porn games, I feel, do not really reach their true potential - broken promises and months-passed deadlines from developers that couldn't really care less -, but Jikei has created in months, what most others would need years to realize. So it's fair to say that I have faith in his ability to complete his game.

There's a lot of good things to say about this game.

The characters do not stumble past the slippery slope and become the almost stereo-typically idiotic and unbelievable caricatures of human beings that are most often associated with porn; instead, they're vibrant, unique, and most of all - genuine.

The graphics are great - not perfect (male characters models look more like some shape-shifting reptilian specie than humans) but the flaws are often easily ignored. The five main girls are really sexy (Fanora best girl), and their body-types are varied enough that it spices things up a bit.

The story...there's not much of one to be honest. It's really more reminiscent of a slice of life anime than anything else, and that's fine! Just don't go in expecting some grand epic; it's a cozier sort of game than that.

I *do* wish it was possible to delve more into the 'monster-girl' side of the game, but the game is still young, growing,; and I'm fairly confident that there's going to be more content centered around that in the future.

In conclusion, Mythic Manor is already a great game that's much better than the vast majority of all like it, combined with a reliable developer; and you have one of the best games to ever come out of the cesspool that is Patreon.

So far, really good. Open world with a lot to explore and find. Hidden events, good story for the various characters, and I'm rather partial to the art. Really like Nefari's art and character. Tried it here, pledged the next day.

I appreciate the notice that you have reached the end of a girl's storyline. Some games just let you grind on infinitely without anything new to discover.

This review is based on my playthrough of version 0.4.

Most of the time, I avoid games using Honey Select assets. My reason being I already have that game - why should I bother playing this one when I can just make the same characters?

But Mythic Manor is a special case. It's actually pretty good. The characters look amazing. The grammar is decent and doesn't make me want to rip my eyes out. And most importantly, it has fap-worthy content.

Let me reiterate that last point: IT HAS FAP-WORTHY CONTENT.

I don't care about realistic looking girls, whether they're shaved or not, if there is NTR, or some other whiny bullshit. I just want to play an adult game that is engaging and helps me cum like a geyser. And this game satisfies my deviant needs.

Most of the girls have fantastic knockers, and though I prefer buxom ladies, the one girl with the small ta-tas is still done in a way that makes her hot as heck.

The story is simple but engaging, and no annoying mini-games. Best of all, not once did I have to spend any amount of time jacking a dude off in the game (I'm looking at you, My Cute Cousin/Roommate), or fending off the lecherous advances of a girl who looks like an anorexic 9-year old (seriously, tits or gtfo).

This is what most adult games should strive towards.

One of my favourite games. Beautiful girls and exciting gameplay! Enjoyed extra scenes. Not too much grinding. I cannot wait for more content. Loved the concept of mythic creatures added to the story line.

The game has diverse looking, likable and charming characters, the CGs aren't bad (they are made in Honey Select), the world is interesting with mythical creatures living undercover in the normal world, plus the game has a lot of content, highly recommend to give it a try.

The characters are likable I've nutted twice to this game and I actually went back again to complete everything I can.
My only feedback is more Esther and maybe less rng based events such as the shower ones, took me forever to get that Esther shower peeing one.

Played it and this is probably my favorite 18+ game ever. The characters are relatively well written and the game plays in a way that just works to me. It's like Summer Saga, but with actually good looking women.

This is one of the few Honey Select games i enjoy, the story in this game is very unique and worth a play.
My issues with the game are it had a save issue before and it feels a bit grindy!

I found this to be an excellent game. I've played a few games similar to this and found that the art as well as the story is great in comparison. Furthermore, the updates bring a fairly large amount of content. If you're looking for a game with likable and sexy characters, this may be the one for you.

considering how the devs update their game every month, they started making the game back in Feb 2018 and the progress of 3 months literally amazed me how a patreon relying game creator could quickly publish an awesome game like this. I've been here since 2.1 and suffice to say I'm going to stay with the game untill it's complete.
