RPGM - Completed - Nacht-sama Is Quitting Being the Demon King! [v1.02] [Jizo Survival Night]

Ive always said that what separates a good hentai game from a great one is it's sense of humor. Too many hentai games take themselves way too seriously and that can make things more of a turn then anything else, this game is funny, got a couple of laughs out of me and was very tongue and cheek.

Unfortunately, this game commits what i consider a cardinal sin amongst hentai games, actively encouraging the player to throw fights to get to the meat of the content...and i say fight very loosely because it basically boils down to you deciding whether you want to endure or submit.

Sure, the collection room makes it, so you don't have to do this while playing the game, but not only does it get tedious to go through everything. But unless you do, the game is no longer than an hour and is very straight forward.

And the clincher here? The demon lords daughter demona does the whole demon lord thing better with the main girl being very self-aware(Both Likes sex and is a hardcore shotacon) This one just feels too mean-spirited.

2/5 It's not irredeemably bad but you can do SO much better then this.

It’s an odd little game.. took me around a hour to fully see and enjoy everything. Let’s get the bad out of the way first. The “gameplay” … there is none, it’s essentially RPGmaker engine visual novel. You progress scenes, have few “split” points to select NPC route.. see it’s scenes, get bad end, resume “before” choice, autowin, continue. Rinse and repeat. If you decide to not lose any fights, you finish the game within 15minutes. Depending how quick of a reader you are. Game itself has silly storytelling, that I didn’t really chuckle to.. so was a miss to me regarding that. An odd way for demon lord regain her powers in a bizarro parody manner dialogues. But scenes hunting was enjoyable, seeing bratty character being tamed in quality degenerate scenes was rather hot.
What made the ero aspect unique was the whole “gallery room” or getting “bad endings” game story element itself implements to it. If you lose, plot restore you before point of loss allowing you to keep scene unlocked whilst redoing combat without loss this time. So you can go to gallery room, see the whole “I lost the battle route” IN THE GALLERY but they exiting gallery and keep playing game as you haven’t lost. It’s great use of mechanic and would be amazing use for a proper ero games. Because typically in ero games you end up managing multiple save slots of save scumming methods.

Anyhow… art style and scenes and kink variety are amazing for this short little game. Artist did great job. For scenes and art I’d give this game 8/10, but sadly game itself was rather bad. So for 30min of scene enjoyment It’s fine, but as whole, pray this artist makes his/her way to proper game.

Another "game" that promises far more than it really ends up providing.

Story:
You are Lady Nacht, a loli vampire demon lord who's both adorable and strong... but unfortunately also violent and a bit (a lot) of an idiot, so your subjects rebel against your reign and burn your castle down. Conveniently (?) you have a so-far-unknown spirit advisor who allows you to travel back in time to fix your mistakes. Repeatedly. Violence, bribery, and other failed attempts later, you start to actually think things through and begin to find the people who started this to work backwards to find the culprit.

And that's more or less it as far as the story really goes...

Gameplay?:
Nacht goes to challenge a couple bandits, loses terribly, and then you get to see what is roughly the only kind of gameplay beyond walking around and talking to some NPCs: the first of a small handful of "resistance battles" where giving in leads to a string of humiliating ero scenes, while properly resisting... does not. There are no levels to gain, foes to fight regularly except one extremely late in the game, and really this whole thing is just another glorified scene viewer (even in-universe as there is something of a demon world equivalent of PornHub). Ultimately the game is even unloseable because even if you lost any given "resistance battle" once, after the string of aforementioned ero scenes you automatically loop back, and in these instances you literally skip the """battles""" entirely.

Summary:
Really, that is more or less it. As a game it really falls flat, and even as a heavily comedic story it's just too mean-spirited for me to enjoy (one example that sticks out is Nacht's subordinates saying that Nacht has many good points too... only to entirely fail naming even just one). The only reason this once again gets 2 starts rather than 1 is because the CG art was drawn by someone very talented. I just wish they would use that talent for an actually good game.

I bought this on steam and thought all the choices were maybe a corruption route and how corrupt you want here to be or whatnot but it is literally just "battle choices" that only determine if you win or lose that fight and go that route.

The girl is hot and the scenes are okay, but it is pretty much just kinetic as you either lose the fight and go through that enemies route or win and go to the next "boss" and make another decisions there. There is basically zero actual gameplay.

If this had actually incorporated a corruption system with an open world (the world isn't open btw it is just go from point a to point be with nothing in between) it COULD have been easily 5 stars. Unfortunately it ended up just being a glorified kinetic novel.

Hopefully the devs future games make more use of actual gameplay an corruption systems as they have the good looking characters and sex scene making ability.

At the end of the day if you like loli brats getting dominated and tamed I would recommend this definitely, just don't expect in depth choices, systems and anything non kinetic. It is definitely good for 1 run through at least since you can get most scenes the without having to start over again due to it looping back to the boss fight at the end of their loss routes.

There is no gameplay whatsoever. There is no world to explore, you are directly teleported to each boss, and there is no strategy to the battle system. They might as well have given you a static option to pick whether you win or lose, but instead the dev decided to drag things out pointlessly.

The game is also incredibly short, you can complete a virgin run that unlocks the entire gallery in under 30 minutes.

The art is decent but the sex scenes are extremely vanilla and tame despite being non-con. Every scene is with some faceless thugs and for some reason the nudity is extremely limited. She never takes off her shirt which just seems odd in a hentai game.

The writing is pretty par for the course anime fluff as well. Nothing worth talking about.

you're a bratty demon queen that gets trained and fucked by grunts that you would normally kill easily. they also post the vids online which is a really hot feature. good game, i recommend it if you enjoy RPGM games that are mostly about the lewd content

Mostly a short review.

Lets start with pros:
-Not much of gameplay, its mostly win or lose on perpose. You cant lose NOT on purpose at all. If you lose you can see H scenes that are somewhat meh at least in my opinion.

-A bit of scenes variations.
-No grind

Now with cons:
-Most of scenes are around sucking dick and from a side perspective.
-Some scenes are just not sexy at all. (not into whole sucking ass)
-IF you dont like anal/domination/etc you cant avoid it
-Most of scenes are not really much different.
-Mostly the same repetitions of scenes. With 3 stages of progression and 3 stages of the game.
-MC Proportions are drawn wierdly. On one slide she looks loli like, on other she had massive bottom proportions. It looks like someone did poor job at looking as how women look like.

TLDR: not really worth the time unleast you are into some wierd fetishes.

Scenario

Nacht is the demon king, but she has been betrayed and must go back in time to thwart the misdeeds of her servants. Accompanied by her loyal servants, she will eliminate the threats against a backdrop of humorous dialogue. The main highlight of this game is the dialogue and situations, which I can only describe as very « Japanese ». Slapstick, situational humor, when the game isn’t getting into its erotic content, the whole thing is funny and cute.

Gameplay

The game’s weakest point: there’s no gameplay. All you can do is advance the dialogues.

H-content

Adult content is unlocked by losing to bosses. However, this does not require reloading a savegame. The whole thing is well thought out, allowing us to enjoy the scenes and then return to the original timeline to continue, having seen everything. The Memory Room is also well designed. As for the content itself, Nacht is cute and the design is very neat. Although there are many scenes, they often turn out to be increasingly extreme alterations of the same base. They’re good, but not numerous. You’ll soon get the gist.

What I didn’t like

As is often the case with this type of game, I have little to criticize about the erotic content. On the other hand, it’s not a game.

Conclusion

I recommend this game if you like the character design. It’s short and you’ll have a good time if you appreciate the author’s sense of humor. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a game, skip it.

really good straightforward game. the art is good, the translation is well done, the writing is nice and lighthearted & though it is 99% non-consensual, it is all sexual and there's a lot of focus on the female char's enjoyment of everything so it's very palatable - if you're into non-con maledom that is forceful but doesn't stray into violence then this is it

the loli part is also kind of ??? as she just looks like the average anime char, with maybe only one scene really exaggerating the size difference and making her look super young
