    Not On My Watch

This is an incredibly underwhelming game, and for multiple reasons.

There is a story, but nothing memorable about it.

Gameplay wise, it's your standard bejeweled-esque game where you slide gems to match them into groups of three to clear them. Matching four or more results in various special gems that have certain abilities. Each level may have multiple phases where you need to clear a certain number of one gem in one phase or a different colour in another. There's really not much to comment on about the mechanics of the game, except for one distinction: there are three types of special items on the field that may need to be cleared, depending on the objectives of the level.
    1. Coins, will move down the board as the gems beneath them are cleared
    2. Locks, which remain in place until removed
    3. Bacteria (not sure what else to call it), which behave like coins, but will increase by one if none of them are destroyed during a turn.
Now, these items can be easily removed as you complete each turn. The problem is, especially for the bacteria, the devs made several levels where you need to let the bacteria spread in order to clear enough to complete the round. For example, in one level you need to clear 10 bacteria, yet only 6 have spawned, so you need to effectively waste 4 turns to ensure that enough are on the field. If you were to destroy those bacteria before they can spread, which is very easy to do, you cannot clear the level and need to restart. It's a shit mechanic to deal with, especially when you are carefully watching the number of moves.

Now, the greatest reason for why this game is bad is the rewards.
    There are none.
    At all.

All you are given is a few character sprites in various clothing states. Some characters show up nude immediately. And that's it. There's not even a gallery to view all of the characters in their states. The only way to view them again is to play the levels again.

    Just flat out disappointing.

There are three things to note as well:
First, I suspect that some of the characters were made with AI because they look different from the rest of the art, and also the quality is not great.
Second, the audio in the game is finicky at best, especially when you chain multiple combo gems together, the audio will just cease to play for a bit, and then come back.
Lastly, the devs failed to put a hard limit on the number of combo gems that can spawn. In any of the levels that have a large board, the combo gems can and will continuously spawn fire off again and again. This can lead to situation where you may have finished the level with a score of large enough to three star the level (eg~700), but the combo gems may continuously spawn and set one another off, ultimately finishing the level with a score in excess of 10000. Now, if this happens at the end of a level in the last phase, you can click and skip and it will auto total the score, but if it happens on a phase mid-level, you need to sit and wait until it finishes. In one such case, it took about 10 minutes for it to finally clear and stop the reaction.

Again, this game is lacking polish, substance, and any legitimate rewards.
