However then it makes your sisters introduce the MC like a dork.
This is the boy my mom raised as her son...or whatever it was.

And the off kilter images that were mentioned.

Great choices for how the mc increases stats such as strength and charm. I really like your
idea. Great choice on colors and fonts as well.

The parts I read seemed to be in English...so you're also way ahead of other devs there...lol


I didn't get very far, I think to the cafeteria on the first school day...but I bet
it's going to turn out nice.

Thank you for the comment! I am going to work on the images, as I am definitely styling at a beginner level. Definitely in English the whole way through as it's the only language I'm fluent in lol. I'm glad you like what you see for the most part so far, expect quite a bit of buildup and lore on Day 1, then a lot more content on Day 2, I hope you enjoy the rest!

Yeah, Hades in actual Greek myth is like the one god that really does nothing wrong and doesn't get involved in any of the shenanigans or power struggles or anything because everything will come to him eventually. And a lot of times he is portrayed in his relationship with Persephone as a loving and doting husband. And in some texts Persephone was the one that was feared by the Greeks, to the point were they didn't even call her by name, but instead referred to her as "She who must not be named" or "Angry" because she was the Iron Queen of the Underworld.

I DO really like the game so far, but as you can tell, I know too much about Greek mythology for my own good, and so my suggestion (which you absolutely do not have to take, it is your game, obviously) is instead of making Hades the bad guy, make Zeus the bad guy (motherfucker can't leave anything alone and hoards power like whoa), and Dionysus as the one trying to help you out; he'd be down for helping some mortal collect the nectar of the gods and therefore become a god himself, whereas Zeus absolutely would not. Dionysus also has a whole cult of fanatical women (the Maenads) that lasted for who knows how long that could maybe show up and come help out or just be crazy and dangerous and sexy. So yeah, if you want to use any of that, great, if you want to use none of that, also great. I hope there's a bunch more updates to come!

Thank you for the comment and insight! Your knowledge of mythology definitely seems to dwarf mine lol. As you and a few others in the thread are mentioning Hades not being so evil, I'm thinking maybe to keep him as the bad guy for now, given our main character really only has one side of the story so far. I really like the idea of a player's choice ending, giving MC a chance to side with either Zeus or Hades, or maybe even choose to try and hoard all of his new power to himself, it would really be a cool spin on the game. I don't know much of Dionysus, the sticking point for me was always that he was the god of wine and partying lol. I'd love for him to make some guest appearances spiking drinks with extra booze or something lol. Overall, I'd definitely like to keep a lot of actual mythology in tact, especially for inside jokes for the fans of mythology and for some of the lore, while also adding in my own twists and turns to make the story mine. Thanks again for playing, I hope you stick around to watch the project grow!
