Hi, I have an idea for a porn game but I'm running into a dilemma I can't make my mind up over. I'm planning on making a game similar to The Ghost Hunter and I'm going to do it in sugarcube-twine. The problem is the art style. I want to do this as a side thing/hobby and I don't have the art to commission so that's off the table. I also just don't want to work with ai. My options, at least right now, are between real porn and 3d modeling.
Real porn would take less time in my opinion to find everything, but the game I want to make focuses on pregnancy and, in some cases, hyper pregnancy, which feels like it'll be hard to find the scenes for. I also want to do transformation things like the protagonist breast and butt getting bigger, which falls to the same issue as before. I also want keep things consistent and that's a real issue with real porn.
On the other hand, I could try my hand at 3d modeling with blender or use something like Honey Select, but I don't have experience in blender, and I'm worried with the amount of characters and things I want to create, I would burn myself out animating and designing stuff in blender before I could get something out. While things like Honey Select could make things easier and have pregnancy support with mods, I don't think they have the support to make the belly sizes I want to, plus I don't know how consistent I can keep scenes, though I could be wrong about that since I haven't used Honey Select a lot.
This is sorta the final hurtle I need to overcome before I commit myself to making my game. I don't want to commit down one of these paths and realize it won't fulfil what I want to do and either cause me to rework a lot of stuff or abandon the project. I'm already starting from zero with learning how to code, and its not that I want to take the easiest path but I want to take the path that best fulfills my vision. I just can't make up my mind since real porn could be easier, but has quite a few consistency issues and, 3d modeling could give me more control over the scenes, but seems rather intimidating and I'm worried about burning myself out over the design with the number of characters and scenes I would want to make.
In ya'lls opinion and experience, which path would be better to go down, or do ya'll know of any other options I could take. I've been doing research most of the day, but I'm sure I missed an option I could take.
