Others Need help in extracting japanese programs

Need help in extracting japanese zip files properly and not in gibberish.

Due to my ssd crashing all my application files going kaput remembered someone on this forums posting a program that lets you extract japanese zip files properly by just dragging the zip file over the program and it extract it properly and not in gibberish

Both winrar and bandizip have options to set the "codepage" for a zip to Japanese (alias 0932) before extracting it (use context-menu "archive preview" with bandizip and whatever it is called for winrar. )

I use bandizip for that reason, and it seems to do everything else I expect of an archive software, too.

normally I just unzip and done, but if afterwards problems occur, then I delete and do anew with the setting-codepage-to-Japanese thing and it mostly works out.

For Winrar just open the zip, press Shift+E and select 932, like you said.
