Recently an H game I played a long time ago came to mind and I can't remember the name of. I'm pretty sure it had sexual content.
It was definitely finished. You play as a male.
It's sort of a series of mini-games related to various fairy tales. The game constantly changes who you as the protagonist are, the setting and the girl. I remember in one of the settings you were the frog prince, in another you were in a theatre with marionettes you got to have sex with. Another one is pinocchio-ish with a mermaid on a boat, I think the ending was not a fairy tale but some weird stuff involving a mirror and two witches or something. You get the idea, I hope.
The one I remember the most clearly involved a sleeping princess and some giant tree growing in her castle as you solve the puzzles.
I tried looking for it with the puzzle and fantasy tags but couldn't find it. I swear I didn't dream it.
Anyone who happens to recognize it?

This is the closest one to your description that I know. The fairy tale you don't know (or Fairytale tag on dlsite).

Try to be more specific, for example is it 2DCG or 3DCG? What game engine it uses (RPGM, Ren'py, Unity, etc.)? Any tags to remember like rape, mind control, netorare etc.? Stuff like that, so it is much easier for you and anybody to track it.

It's not that one. It was 2D, not RPGM, not sure about the engine.
I thought about it and it's probably an eastern game, possibly fromDLsite or similars. It might not be on f95zone at all.

The theme itself is strongly Inspired by Kingdom Hearts, so probably the game was 2010 game.. but what do I know.

Anyway these detail need to be figured 1st:
- Do you play it on Japanese or English language?
- Was it animated?
- How do you play the game? (Action, VN, RPG, etc)
- Does it have a Battle mechanic, or just solving puzzle and doing quest?

Now, IF questions:
If it was action, was it Side scroller, top down views, or 3rd or even 1st person views?

It was a point and click adventure game. The sort where you have to find things on screen or solve puzzles to progress, your character isn't visible except in the H scenes.
I don't remember what language since the game had basically no text, MAYBE text to explain the puzzles but I don't remember
Most likely a Japanese game though, yes.
No combat, don't remember if it was animated. Graphics were pretty good.
Sadly this game appears very hard to find.

I tried googling all the things I can remember both in English and google translated Japanese and can't find it.
My memory isn't perfect but I could describe most of the game, if I could draw I could draw some of the levels very closely but it seems very hard to find it by Googling.
I definitely saw it while browsing lists of H games, the problem is that puzzle, point and click etc.are so vague and common that the lists are endless.
It might never resurface, sad because it was a gem.

Horrible drawing of one of the levels I remember the clearest. The cabin one is very easy to imagine, just a wooden cabin you click to find keys and a werewolf rapes a girl in there, pretty sure you also had to interact with the outside of the cabin through a window, a tree behind the cabin and you had to dig underneath it to find an item I believe.

Hm...

Allright, this one might be the most helpful one :

- What does the 2D art look like? Try to use one pic of character that resemble it the most.

Just generically very high quality anime art style, like this. Plently of games that look pretty much like this one. Again, probably a Japanese title.
While looking at DLsite I couldn't find a single game with that kind of art style, I had to go on Steam.
Which makes me think it was probably not an indie title.
I pretty much looked at every single game on DLsite, it's definitely not on there. Which is weird because DLsite and f95zone are the only places where I look for games. It could be on Steam, I guess. Other than that I have no idea where I would've even downloaded it.
It also wasn't static CG, I'm pretty sure. It was slightly animated, bouncing and whatnot. Again, not indie looking.
That is for the H CG, as for the puzzles those looked a lot less good obviously but still pretty good quality.
