Hello,

So just recently I got into trying out Daz, see what it can do and try to figure out how it works. As you can guess from this post, that second part is not going very well.

So the problem that I got some assets from this site to play around with, test some stuff, but one in particular is giving me a hard time figuring it out. This is the one: https://f95zone.to/threads/mb-reann-genesis-9-female-anatomy-morphs-magic-brush.253773/

Now the problem is after installing it through the install manager, it does appear under shaping on the left, but clicking on them seems to do nothing at all, not to mention the sliders doesn't seem to appear on the right. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or looking at the wrong place, but at this point I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this thing to work. Does anyone know and maybe can give some useful advice?

On a separate note, I was wondering if there is any decent guide/tutorial maybe here on f95 for Daz that more focused in the nsfw part of things?

I'm taking a guess but I think you don't have the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials Expansion pack installed. Daz moved the default genitals to that other pack a while back. This morph pack is meant to work on those default G9 genitals.

So get that essentials expansion, install it and then apply the anatomical elements to your G9 then try this morph.

Thanks for the answer but unfortunately I'm not sure if that is the issue. While trying to figure it out, I did try a few things that could possibly be the issue and installing the expansion pack was something that I did. The thing I noticed that as you mentioned, expansion should have the anatomical parts, but for me it doesn't seem to show up. 1753369328049.png

I've seen this comment in the thread, but after trying this solution, it doesn't seem to work either. 1753369426078.png

I remember now... DAZ was moving that stupid pack around and some of the packages on here have different versions.

THIS bundle has the Anatomical Elements as a separate DUF.

I'd save that for future use. Also, I don't usually use the Smart Content for my base Genesis stuff. Here's where it should be in the regular Content Tab, after you install it.

Thank you so much! Yeah it is working now. I've been spending like 5-6 hours at this point trying to figure this thing out. Such a dumb way to cause problems. Either way, thanks again, helped me a lot.

Smart Content is great for beginners, or for doing a "Crap I need something fast" scenery render, but if you do get more serious with Daz, learn your regular content library, and for the sake of your own sanity, learn how to organize it... I speak from experience on that. Mine used to just be a huge clusterfuck of random folders, it would take me FOREVER to find the asset I was looking for. Not that I'm a pro now or anything, but at least I'm a somewhat ORGANIZED amateur.
