Ok so I'm looking for Beat'em up, run & gun or metroidvania style of games. A few games like this would be Lab: Still Alive, Lab2 UndeRGround, Future Fragments, Ayura Crisis, Forest of the Blue Skin, Eroico and Crisis Point Extinction. Preferably 2d but not required. If anyone can help, I'd be glad.
Do you care more about gameplay or art?

Magical Angel Fairy Heart
Goblin Walker , neat sidescrolling beat-em-up gameplay and nicely animated scenes
Demons sperm , neat gameplay and nicely animated art
Anthophobia , I like the gameplay of this one. Varied enemies but the gameplay is a bit more slow and methodical, kinda like a 2D Resident Evil
Ghost Hunter Vena , metroidvania-lite, I suppose? kinda slow gameplay but nice animations
Alien Quest Eve , pretty fast but not finished
Fighting girl sakura
SpacEscape
Xenotake (same developer as Ghost hunter vena)
Last Strike
Afterschool Ogre Saga
Parasite in city , gameplay is meh but art and animation is neat.
Queen's Legacy
Emulis of the valley of magic
Unholy Disaster
Soul of phantasm(doesn't seem to have a f95zone thread)

Honestly, gameplay. can't really enjoy the art if I get frustrated about the gameplay. also, thanks for the suggestions, will be looking into them.
