To answer your question the reason is due to most of the creators being part of the furry community. There are non furry gay games out there but they are mainly in Japanese Chinese or Korean. The few English ones hardly get completed or they don't have date-able guy a person likes. For example someone might like slim guys with a cute face while some like men with muscle (which is extremely rare to fine in the western gay games) and so on. I hope this answer your question .

From my understanding its due to the fact the furry community is big on embracing yourself kind of thing. They are a community that likes the idea of being anything between a human with animal ears and tails to being a green horned wolf man with purple spots. They don't really care about 'normality' and thus many of them are gay/bi/other so many embrace homosexuality as furries.
What I am more surprised is the fact its nearly always this gay/straight and not many things aimed for bi options. Seriously don't see a lot of games furry or non that allow for male and female partners.

While you have the community at large pretty down pat on the surface, the reason so many furries are gay is not because furries end up embracing homosexuality, but rather that a lot of homosexuals join the fold of the furry community because of its welcoming openness. At least, on the surface. Once you scratch it, you find it's the same seething cesspool as anywhere else, like Tumblr with hairballs.

That's why I don't much like the community at large.

Not a psychologist. but from my experience people consider it less "gross" if the gay couple is of another gender. I've known a father who straight up said he didn't mind if his daughter was a les, but said he'd disown his son if they were gay. (that was a more polite phrasing then what he said, which was awful since said son was in the closet, and in earshot) I think its just how people choose to rationalize it. Men like girls, so in their mind more girl action is good, and vice versa.

Not really good at explaining my point of view, I hope my opinion made a bit of sense.

I was joking and I like to call it the chocolate theory. Its basically "Oh look a milky way (the superior chocolate bar) something I like oh look another milky way *jams them together*"

ohhhh i get it! i die because its not his story im going through right now. i suspect the only choice that changes the course of the game that impactfuly is who you let sleep in your bed the first night. if thats true, its sneaky, but really smart...
