If ppl want NTR focused on sex they can just read a doujin or a short game or something - though it does kinda suck when people think I'm dragging things out on purpose or something. I just don't actually find sex that big of a goal in an ntr corruption game - to me exhibitionism, posting lewder and lewder pics online, hiding things from bf, getting increasingly acquainted with other men - all of that is waaaaay lewder than sex (but I imagine most people don't think that way and that's where a lot of comments come from). I really appreciate the support from so many people, but I really, really did not expect it - I said from the start it was a niche game I didn't expect many people to like ;-; but so many people got invested waiting for the sex scene or something and that's just not something I prioritize

The onsen trip was the main focus of this update (I really like the side characters) and Vani's side of the story was just the aftermath of the previous night (but I ended up including a super lewd - or what I thought was super lewd - masturbation scene on Vani's POV anyways). I think this update actually sets up multiple different endings depending on what happens with Elise - because now I feel like you either love Elise (like me cus I'm evil) or hate her so you can imagine different endings where Elise gets everything she wants or where the girls break free of her grasp.

Honestly, I don't understand why people don't notice all these improvements and little details all around. Diary system; save system with tons of slots instead of 5 or 10-ish like most games not on Ren'py or RPGM tend to give out; actually nice sound effects; A HUGE work on UI design, which don't bug out every time you change between different apps, chats, PoV's or roaming regime; AI CG's quality with so much expression in characters; continuing improvement on animations, that don't feel that much out of place (I am waiting of Vani to record a video as an apology for her fans :3) and many more.

Many people who never touched anything in gamedev or programming seems to not realise how hard to assemble all these systems as a literally one person-dev. That's the reason I appreciate devs of games like Bonds Defiled or E-Thots/BootyTrap (just two examples) - the amount of work behind the system of their games, just to properly and with comfort to players show their story, images and, let's tell the truth, the only thing that most people care - porn, is absolutely impressive. Throughout their work I clearly noticed periods when they had to assemble new stuff, because just throwing more porn inside literally won't work in game's perspective, because, unlike those low-quality ai-images dumps that people for some reason really like, good games have so many work behind them and actual art-direction with context behind their stories.

Just in short - stop thinking with your dick for a second, skipping every bit of the game for a few new scenes, which absolutely don't work without skipped parts, or asking for a save, which ruins all depth of scenes presented in gallery. I understand, that in porn - porn is the main thing (it's absolutely true for myself too, as I would prefer to read a novel for a good story, or play normal games for gameplay), but with an example of masturbation scene, it hitted me so hard after reading through Vanilla's thoughts and emotions in this update, that I had to write all my thoughts here before - THIS is what I am seeking in porn, actual impact of lewd situations and scenarios, which are empty without a proper CHARACTER behind them (that's why I stopped watching common tasteless porn, and switched to games, doujinshi's, comics or lewd novels). The excitement of witnessing things playing out in the most kinky way is a pure bliss, and Vani finally understood what she likes now.

Completely agree on that. For a one-year project as of now, this is one of the cleanest I've seen on this site (and there are A LOT of NTR phone games here). I don't even remember the last time I saw someone complaining about a bug or encountered one on my own, which is a huge win for the dev.
Compared to some games I won't name that dropped updates after a long times with more new bugs than content, we still have to wait some time for updates but the quality is delivered.

For the folks here just for the sex, as the Dev said, not really happening. But for the story folks, this is really, really good... although it can be painful depending on where you are at in your life. Getting more of the back story of the other girls, and Elise mainly, gives it a much richer feel and you can 'see'/imagine the motivations of each. It always felt like Elise was doing a bit of grooming but now it lays it bare and shows just how far down she is willing to drag Vanilla and her boyfriend (yes she is grooming him too).
Also a note, in Elise's phone conversation with Vanilla, it seems to switch to someone else 2/3 of the way through as they (and not direct quotes as I do not want to play through it again and cannot rewind to the chat) the other person Elise is talking with, talk about "...checking with N." (assume reference to Noah). and then talk about even better tasks to be given to the princess. So it seems she is chatting with Daiki(sp?) the main money supporter of Vanilla. If so Elise is evil indeed and super grooming her.
speaking of which I am going to go back and play through again, but I did not get the concept of the cat game, so I kind of sped through anything dealing with it and only found that I needed to read it once it came up in the chat at the restaurant and is kind of a big deal to her and needing even more money for it (but strange she could afford the restaurant but not the game... just saying).

Anyway, big fan, much better than 95% of the NTR phone games out there, both in looks and 99% better in story! Thank you and good luck.

I mean fair enough but just because it has NTR in its name doesnt mean that there needs to be ntr sex every singular update. Since this game imo is more like a story w/ porn aspects rather than just straight up porn it would make sense to just not spam sex every single scene and instead bulld up to it, whether it takes 20 updates or 2 updates in total, the story speaks more volume behind the actions when do happen.

This obviously differs from dev to dev as some just spit out ChatGPT slop w/ images and calls it a "story driven game" and other devs (like neko) take their time and build the story to match the actions made in the sex scenes & images.

Anyways enough ranting from me. Give the game an actual playthrough and read before getting to conclusions based on the cover

The game slowly evolved into what it is today, with the scene replayer, the diary, export/import system for the saves that lets you move them between platforms easily, moving from a phone/messaging app format to sprite vn-esque with animations, and the list simply goes on. I am also fairly sure the NTS/NTR split happened as the novel was being developed just to cater another side of potential fans and explore that idea, so that's some extra goodness on top.

And aside from those improvements, the quality from the start was already pretty high there, both from a graphical and script point of view. It should also come as no surprise to anyone, because it started with that tone, that this game focused more on the emotional part of the relationship and exploring these two paths than instant sexual gratification... for which there are plenty and plenty of other games available that may suit people with those tastes more.

And honestly, to top it all... it's free. Sure one shouldn't just say 'just because it's free it doesn't give it an excuse to be crap!'... at which point I'd just suggest this person to merely go enjoy any of the other multiple free games available.

Maybe Neko could consider bringing one person who could maybe help sketch some situations or help with image generation, but I also understand in projects like this giving away some control could translate in one's vision being distorted a bit, so it is what it is.

To me, someone with a pretty sad romantic past, this is one of the very few media with this NTR tone that made my stomach churn upon discovering those key milestones Vanilla has been slowly crossing.

I would love to keep yapping more and more about how much I like it, but, yeah, good job Neko, I really like what you're developing.

Stacking words != good game or good script. Two months of dev time and only get one day? Wasting a ton of image and text capacity on side‑nobodies. The buildup before they met again was already plenty—I have no idea what they’re dragging this out for now.

I can't play this game anymore. GODOT is trying to play another title I played previously every time I try to start NekoNTR. I even deleted all of the previous game from my system, but still GODOT tries to play it. Bizarre, shit game engine honestly.

Edit - I fixed my issue, i literally deleted every instance of the other game out of my registry, but still GODOT tried to run Neko as the wrong game, so I deleted the intances again, and then put Neko into a folder with the extracted contents of the exe, and now I got to play the update....hope it's normal going forward)

I think what's slowing this down is the dev has committed to a journal entry for each day, each day having mc and female perspectives, as well as a quasi separate perspective for the onlyfans stuff. That's a lot. Also this dev has the annoying habit of making the mc daydream often, resulting in a lot of cg's that are not real just throw away images.

Still, despite that, the project is going well, I've seen a ton of sht abandoned because it got too bloated, I think the dev can still finish this.
