RPGM - Completed - Nepgear in the Maid's House [v3.02PE] [Wereship]

One of my favorite Hypnosis games . Slow fall - loss of morals - mind control through worn accessories - master/slave dynamic. It's all conceptually up my alley.

I absolutely love the standing image, I love the concept of the game as well. This really scratches the Hypnosis itch for me, better than most mind control games. Watching her slowly give more and more of herself over to the antagonist is great, I just wish there were more ways to interact with him and the world at large whilst she falls to the mind control.

Though being a favorite of mine, it's not perfect. the sex scenes are noticeably less polished compared to the standing image - they're made by an artist with less competency, it seems. The CG's in general are just mediocre. The game works best for fans of standing images changing based on certain criteria, especially if you're a fan of facial expressions - similar to games like Sol Rui -after mini- which is another fantastic hypnosis game.

Very good story and progression, not too long or short (about 1.5 hours for one ending, and codes to see other endings/events if you don't want to play through for each individual one)

Outside of character portraits, I thought the art was very lackluster. You effectively have one image that has about ~10 different versions

If we're being more objective, this has the making of a 3/5 game, but it sits in a BE niche that's not very populated

As a fan of neptunia series I really love nepgears design. The corruption aspect was done pretty well though the game was a bit lacking in h scenes. I loved the puzzle mechanics. No h scenes with iffy though. Looking forward to see what the dev creates next.

While the game interested me quite a bit, the sexual content is very lacking. Unless you're able to get off to brainwashing itself, there's not much to look at. I can, so 4 stars it is.

Actual puzzles are okay. Could use a little less running around and more straightforward descriptions (wtf_is_an_east_annex.mp4)

It really is so close to being good.. The puzzle element is actually pretty well designed (for the most part) and the gameplay loop is nice. A few things would have been good as hints, but overall it was an ok game.

Points are taken off for technical issues (bricking saves) and overall severe lack of variety in CG (and CG in general) and missed opportunities for H-scenes.

If you want to try to play this game blind: you can take off the maid headgear in the evening.

There's not many games that have this flavor of Mind Control and Corruption, so if you're into that whole thing this is definitely worth a pickup, regardless of how buggy it can be at times.

The art and scenes are great, but there's not a lot. A lot of what's here sadly are static images, if the event even gets one; but the art itself when it's there is good.

As for gameplay itself, it's fine when it works. It's your classic puzzle house / escape room sort of schtick, so if you're into playing detective and putting together the pieces to escape its a good run. The problem here comes with the game sometimes bugging out and simply not giving you the stuff when you successfully complete a puzzle, so sometimes its hard to know if you are missing something to proceed or the game is just bricking you.

This game would probably be a 5 star if it had more art and wasn't so buggy. Then again, those of us into this combination of stuff are starved for content.

On one hand, this hits a ton of my fetishes, the writing good, Nepgear looks hot, and there's a bunch of interesting puzzles (for those who are into that kind of thing).

However, the one thing that holds this game back for me personally is that there's too little.

The game has a bunch of decently written scenes, but the majority of the artwork for this game consists of modifications to the same artwork again and again. This is fine for Nepgear's standing sprite given the body modification themes, but it's particularly egregious that there's pretty much only one actual sex CG in the entire game. There's one ending where Nepgear is brainwashed into the Master's slave wife and gets a hot evil dress and gets fucked at the ceremony, but there's no CG of Nepgear getting railed while bending over the altar.

There's also a lack of H-events or dialogue outside of nightly "training" scenes and the endings, which is a shame because there's so much wasted potential. For example, about halfway through, Nepgear starts walking around with a rotor, which should lead to all sorts of sexy shenanigans where Nepgear has to work while being "stimulated". However, all this amounts to is a constant buzzing noise being added to the background, some changes to an event where the Master sexually harasses Nepgear (which changes after every training anyway and just amounts to groping), and a mechanical penalty where your jobs take longer (which barely matters given that you can just work one job then fuck around for the rest of the day). This point really bugs me since there's a whole bunch of scenarios I'd like to see with these themes. Where's Nepgear walking in on the Master fucking another maid and going from getting embarassed and running out the first time to eagerly encouraging it or even joining in by the end? Where's Nepgear doing chores when suddenly the Master comes and decides to use Nepgear for sexual relief? Where's Nepgear treating giving the Master a blowjob under the table while he eats as a chore as normal as moping the floor?

Another nitpick I have is that the game uses Neptunia character, but only ever fucks Negear, which I can at least excuse as a potential consequence of game design choices (less characters means faster development since there doesn't need to be as much content done). I still think it's a waste because even if we stick to Planeptune characters, we never see Neptune in her sexy Purple Heart form, and despite IF being a minor character, we never see Compa despite her being perfect fetish bait.

I like this game's premise, and I love what it got right, but there's just so little that I feel that there's wasted potential. The True Ending epilogue teases at a sequel, so maybe they could afford to be a bit more ambitious with it.

The game's content is mainly mind control and its derivatives such as hypnosis,[transforming into combatant] and deindividualization

The game's format is open exploration where it always end at the 7th day then it loops back to the beginning after whatever ending you get and you can apply some of the knowledge you get from last cycle to progress faster or outright skip some stuff in future cycles

There are small bits of generic rpg battles, but there's only one of them is winnable and the rest should be avoided

Good porn with good dialogues (sometimes it kinda drag on for too long), altough my scoring might a bit tad biased since I'm a sucker for this kind of game

Well if you are a Neptune Fan you should know the drill by now.
It is a good experience, but you can never rule out The little buts here and there in the experience.
Straight let s say if you feel nostalgic for those rpgm with puzzle solving and Finding stuff out for yourself then this is the one for you.
Story is as simple as Nepgear has to rescue If who went missing after investigating a misterious aristocratic mansion.
And for Plot Convenience we play along as Nepgar goes undercover to save her. How can anyones in planetune not recognize The cpu younger sister?
Not a clue, but If has decent cg and quite the challenging puzzles.
So as any other entry in the series if you like Hyperdimension Neptune or Simply want to see Best sister getting trained give it a shot.
It has multiple endings and even vanilla ones where she beats the odds and save everyone.
So no losing here.
