On one hand, this hits a ton of my fetishes, the writing good, Nepgear looks hot, and there's a bunch of interesting puzzles (for those who are into that kind of thing).
However, the one thing that holds this game back for me personally is that there's too little.
The game has a bunch of decently written scenes, but the majority of the artwork for this game consists of modifications to the same artwork again and again. This is fine for Nepgear's standing sprite given the body modification themes, but it's particularly egregious that there's pretty much only one actual sex CG in the entire game. There's one ending where Nepgear is brainwashed into the Master's slave wife and gets a hot evil dress and gets fucked at the ceremony, but there's no CG of Nepgear getting railed while bending over the altar.
There's also a lack of H-events or dialogue outside of nightly "training" scenes and the endings, which is a shame because there's so much wasted potential. For example, about halfway through, Nepgear starts walking around with a rotor, which should lead to all sorts of sexy shenanigans where Nepgear has to work while being "stimulated". However, all this amounts to is a constant buzzing noise being added to the background, some changes to an event where the Master sexually harasses Nepgear (which changes after every training anyway and just amounts to groping), and a mechanical penalty where your jobs take longer (which barely matters given that you can just work one job then fuck around for the rest of the day). This point really bugs me since there's a whole bunch of scenarios I'd like to see with these themes. Where's Nepgear walking in on the Master fucking another maid and going from getting embarassed and running out the first time to eagerly encouraging it or even joining in by the end? Where's Nepgear doing chores when suddenly the Master comes and decides to use Nepgear for sexual relief? Where's Nepgear treating giving the Master a blowjob under the table while he eats as a chore as normal as moping the floor?
Another nitpick I have is that the game uses Neptunia character, but only ever fucks Negear, which I can at least excuse as a potential consequence of game design choices (less characters means faster development since there doesn't need to be as much content done). I still think it's a waste because even if we stick to Planeptune characters, we never see Neptune in her sexy Purple Heart form, and despite IF being a minor character, we never see Compa despite her being perfect fetish bait.
I like this game's premise, and I love what it got right, but there's just so little that I feel that there's wasted potential. The True Ending epilogue teases at a sequel, so maybe they could afford to be a bit more ambitious with it.
