TL;DR version: they were going through a number of changes: new team members, new gameplay stuff, and RL things.
Once this release gets out, they'll focus on doing smaller, more frequent releases because the game's foundation is now solid.

In some shape or form, the update will come out in May. Possibly followed by patches for missing stuff that didn't meet the deadline.

They should just focus more on the story and the girl routes at this point. Each update has been focusing too much on the combat system while it advances the story little to nothing.
They needed a solid foundation before adding content. It should be an epic game in its final form
if they were serious about improving the combat system they would have abandoned rpgm long ago. i feel like the team is just struggling to tame the spaghetti code.

It's almost ironic that Urban Demons and Summertime release stuff today, like an ill omen if culturedgamer does actually keep to the schedule it'll be a game in the same boat as those devs. Anyways I think it's safer if you delay another six months, wouldn't want to be associated with delays and lackluster content.
