Well funny enough, Laura just moments before she asks the Rule-breaking question, mentions "A slippery slope" so I don't think it's a matter of her maturity. More how much can she control her desires and this has always been my point. but when your desires get the better of you it is easier to do something stupid and justify it with "you said I could break the rules to surprise you"It all depends on how mature Laura is about it, after all, that freedom to bend and break rules from time to time comes attached to an implicit condition about not abusing it, because sure, she could do something incredible stupid along the way and defend herself arguing that she was allowed to do as she pleased, and it would amount to nothing in the long run, it would still ruin the relationship and the netorase angle
So it boils down to a matter of trust, rules are there to give them a referential frame, but at the core of the matter, the whole, "yeah surprise me, I'll love it", goes hand in hand with, "because you love me, I know you won't do something that could actually hurt us", yet, I think that is still to early, we will have to wait and see if she goes crazy or something, like falling in love with someone else thus turning this plot into your usual ntr game
There are a few NTR definitions, if we were to go for the full-blown Trope, Laura would have to be blackmailed or coerced by someone then corrupted into cheating, hating it at first but then getting full-blown into it. (no danger of that at the moment, as Laura actually likes our bulls and they generally like our MC) For most though and here in the west most just associate Netorare with Cheating, and Netorase which if you really looked into it are both wrong but let's not get into symantics here.Remember guys, ntr is when the love interest is taken in every meaningful way and the mc suffers and ends themselves/masturbate to it, but are not happy or are mind broken or whatever, being a key element the mental anguish, and nts is more like hotwives, stags, bulls and doing kinky stuff with strangers because that's hot or, the emotional pain from it is hot for the mc, who enjoys it and wants it, and there will be works that mix them, blur the lines and more
My point way back when this discussion first started was that the lines between NTR/NTS are getting blurred, which is fine because it's an absolute fine way to keep the story fresh. All of a sudden Laura doesn't need to text our MC for permission or to let him know where shes going etc, it can just happen - the way it's presented in the game won't change because that's the whole nature of the game but instead of getting the "Nathan text me" we can now have "well I was out at the bar with Ashley and this guy caught my eye, he wasn't interested at first so I really had to seduce him and so on and so on.
And as others have pointed out, our MC did actually agree to this, so can it be considered cheating? Possibly, possibly not? I guess that would depend on the morality and views of the players. Either way, it's a fresh way to introduce something extra to the game
