Hello,

I recently watched a video of a paper on image animation and directly thought how incredible it could be for making animations in games in the future or maybe already now.
I think everyone who tried animating in DAZ knows how frustrating it can become and how long it takes to have a good animation.

Scroll down to watch the video. Basically you only need a source video and a target picture. Yes just a picture.
The model has to be trained on a specific set as far as I understand, like faces or poses.
There are still artefacts and the image size is still small, but things improve very fast in that space and I think it could be used for games in some years down the line.
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if itcould be used now already for sloppy animations or just speech.

What are your thoughts on that? Do you think we pervs could benefit from this? Do you have any more sources on this kind of technology?
