I have to admit, considering how dated NWN is, the mod she made is absolutely fantastic. I haven't seen anything on this kind of scale in any recent mods. There are tons of quest mods for more recent games and Dragon Age Origins has a decent collection but nothing like this.

Like I said, i've been at it for 2 days now and have quite a bit of spare time and i'm only up to Pia is Missing.

I managed to finish Dhorn Slayer loading an earlier save. I had to go back a few saves so I had to redo about 2 hours worth of gameplay but it was better than starting again.

Yeah, the combat is painful but a lot of games from back then were.

I always hoped NWN would get an update like Baldur's Gate 1&2 did. The game is fantastic but it's incredibly dated and, again, the combat isn't great but it has some great mods and you can lose hours in it.

A dance with rogues is seriously one of the best porn game works in the west ever made, excluding unteralterbach perhaps. The amount of quality writing and content overall is mind blowing. Sure the combat and gameplay is godawful but its much more intuitive than any rpgmaker game.
Anyone know if the woman who made it ever did any other relevant works?

She never made any other modules that I know of. She did have a Literotic page with some of her writing a long time ago. Some of that writing dealt with early versions of A Dance with Rogues. A friend of her's, IRL, made the first public version of A Dance with Rogues but that one was taken down after Valine (S.H.) promised to post the version she had shown that friend. Both parts I and II. Both parts, of course, have gone thru massive changes over the years even it that is long ago now.

On another note. I read from wkbuilder that another modder maybe developing a NWN adult module recently. There might be another version of his latest module coming up. I need to check that out on the n-vault.

I saw my game being discussed in this thread some time ago. I am the author of The Wink and Kiss Part 2. Today I just updated the game to BETA, and consider it mostly finished. I would make a new thread, but this is my first time posting here, and there's a 3 post rule, so I will just direct you to the links up in the OP. This is just a little promotional bump for my BETA release today. If you played my game before, you will need to update and overwrite your old hak and module files.

You need to have Neverwinter Nights 1.69 or later. Beamdog just released an Enhanced Edition of NWN, but I have not attempted to play this version with it yet. But allegedly Beamdog's version is supposedly 100% backwards compatible, so take that with a grain of salt. If you use EE, I make no promises.

Here's a little more info about the game:

The Wink and Kiss Part 2 is the sequel to Captain Dobbins' Cabin. It follows the story of the female protagonist from the module The Wink and Kiss. Which can also be found on neverwintervault.org. You can import a character from part one, or start a new one. The only real requirement is you must play a female character, of human or half elf race for animation purposes, and story continuity. It's an adult themed city adventure who's setting is Waterdeep in the Forgotten Realms. You play a prostitute and the main theme of the mod is sex, so be forewarned. Very little is left to the imagination with descriptions, nudity, and animated sex.

Since this is a BETA version, please report bugs. All of the pertinent information is on the download page to contact me.

If you are new to my content, maybe take a look at part one first. Admittedly it's not as good though, but it provides backstory for part 2.

Thanks

~W.K.

Put the custom .tlk archive in the tlk folder of the game. It´s for custom names, descriptions, etc used for some modules.

Blast from the past. I have archives of various NWN modules on my backup drive. Let's see if I can suss out what they are by the filenames. All of these I think were from NWNVault.
Whip and Chains 2 was a decent short one that involved some BDSM, slavery and whipping stuff. It's a shame that it was so short and the story is incomplete. Vampire Heaven Defied was another one (unsure about adult themes but I think it was a WOD based module). Gate of the Silver Key, Sanctum, The Road North (I didn't like this one much. It's a high level adventure and I'm unsure if there's any real adult content.), A Dance with the Devil, Demonheart was already mentioned, as well as ADK Kunoichi parts 1 and 2. Citadel (don't remember this one), Amn's Destruction I-II, Gladiatrix (which was pretty good, completed, and already mentioned), and the A Dance with Rogues/Spies modules (already mentioned).

That's all the modules that I have I think.

You have to create it.

And i am pretty much still in love with A Dance with Rogues, years later. And not even for the sex! I would love to see more games with this intelligent use of game-play elements and progression.

To tell you the truth at this point im after any good complete mod to play, i was playing some side story from the game like The shadow guard and the King maker, but it sucks because they are not finished, just when it start getting good the credits show up.

Preeeeeeeeeeetty sure Shadow Guard and King Maker are just short intro-type scenarios.

They are, its just the first part, then the credits show up, i did not say otherwise, there´s no problem with those mods, aside from the fact they are "teasers", and considering neverwinter is kinda of a old game and as far as i know they never released more of the story ( feel free to correct me of im wrong, would love to get the full mods someday ), its possible they will never finish them.

Does anyone know if Neverwinter Nights - Enhanced Edition needs the Community Patch 1.71?

Please see post and OP (first post) with link to Community Patch 1.71 there for some more info.
- Renewed NWN EE should be compatible, so if you like to run mods it will probably work with them with patch active.
- The CPP 1.71 should be compatible because it does not change anything game specific anymore (assuming game is at patch level 1.69).
It may be the right thing if modders rely on this level (and files/data changed) being present, and shouldn't break stuff.

They are even working on a 1.72 version still. Read and pay attention to 'any EE update needs installing patch anew' as one user mentioned. I would always install the patch, just in case, if I find no info on not doing so (e.g. mentioned with a mod). If mods get play-tested it is done with CPP installed I assume (which is level 1.71), it cannot hurt to have a common base to play mods from the Vault. Just dive into the forum, that must be the right place to find more info, we cannot compete with their knowledge on NWN. :/

Hope this helps somewhat. Have fun and enjoy this classic. :)

It is really unfortunate that the console versions of Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition have no module support. Would have been truly incredible if they supported them considering how many modules the PC version got over the years :(.
