Hello guys. I've been interested in NSFW games literally all my life and always dreamed of making my own, thousands of ideas taken from other games, thousands of scenarios and plots. But I have never listened and read what players really want (except myself, but I have a special mindset) so I have a couple of questions for you (my test game will be on an RPG maker):
1) What do you miss in rpg maker games? What mechanics? What are the possibilities?
2)What characters would you like to see? Collect as many heroes as you can from popular franchises (which franchises?) or original characters?
3) Which H-Scene opening mechanics are you most interested in?

For rpgm id want small roamable areas with a map to quick travel to areas, that way each area is unique and not one giant open area/world (think treasure of nadia)

При создании в RPGMaker ожидается что будут задействована основная система, то есть сражения. Хотя иногда используют только при лёгком использование при создании карты местности и перемещения.
Теперь об игре. Из того что мешает, это когда не понятно куда надо дальше идти в игре. Тыкаешься повсюду пока случайно не натыкаешься на правильный результат. Должно быть понятно куда дальше двигаться в сюжете. Насчёт персонажей, обычно в таких жанрах обычно фэнтезийные персонажи представляются. Но ещё не известно какую идею решил воплотить, так каких то конкретных назвать трудно. Будет идея примерно, тогда можно будет более точно сказать.
Механика открытия разных сцен. Тут либо сцены которые зависят от выбора который был раньше ,либо накопление, то есть что то собираешь или выполняешь что бы увидеть сцену. При выборе можно будет создать несколько вариантов но при этом играя можно будет пропустить какой то момент не то выбрав. При накоплении обычно одна линия прохождения.

It should be clear where to go next in the story.
True, however it should be done with care. When done in heavy-handed way this will remove the player choice and will turn the game in to visual novel. After all having a map to explore is one of the advantages of rpg maker games.Fallowing charted road from a to b to c can quickly become boring.

Well, I wouldn't want to use the combat system until I can come up with an interesting implementation, maybe I'll think about it now.

The problem with RPGM is that it's ultimately a limited engine. Traditional you-hit-me-I-hit-you turn-based combat is not very engaging or skill-based. That being said, some games do manage to suprise me like Karryn's Prison, but those are once in a blue moon.

3) Which H-Scene opening mechanics are you most interested in?
Assuming this is about how one gets the H-Scene, this is the wrong mindset. You don't want to dangle the porn like a carrot on a stick. Your players will undermine gameplay and the porn becomes dead-weight to the gameplay. Not to advertise, but check out the link in my signature for a small guide on sexual game mechanics.

An actual RPG would be nice for a change. It's not a good engine for visual novels, that's for sure. If you're gonna make a h-game with it make sure it is indeed a game you're making.

Original characters, but I kind of say that because I don't keep up with modern movies and series and old ass westerns movies don't really have characters people would put on a h-game for me to recognise.
The mommy archetype is a favourite of mine, but if you're gonna do that or any other classic make sure they have plenty of content to justify existing as a character. Don't add in characters with little to no scenes.

With regards to mechanics, I ask this question solely in order not to make a dull grind, but just to make an interesting, not boring gameplay. For this reason, I have not yet decided how to make the combat system so that it is not just a way to farm

1. RPGM has many options, it's not as limited as some people think. Classic RPG where the H is based on main/story quest progression; battlefuck (usually female-MC rape); turn-based gloryhole simulators; strategy-RPG; job simulators; even action-survival games are possible. Me, I'm not too picky, as long as there's no/very little RNG to the player's actions. I don't want to be rolling dice to do basic stuff.

2. I can't think of anyone in particular, but it's best if they're not from some franchise I'm not familiar with.

3. I'm partial to "job/activity gets progressively more sexual", especially if there's also meaningful gameplay to it. I like the jobs in Karryn's Prison, for example, though I really don't like the obtuseness of that game's combat system. In general, it's better for the H to be integrated into the gameplay instead of being scene-based.

I like when there is some management to do: harem, army, dungeons... Like in Ravager.
2)What characters would you like to see? Collect as many heroes as you can from popular franchises (which franchises?) or original characters?
I prefer original characters, some of them as the usual archetypes: the shy one, the yandere, the diva...
3) Which H-Scene opening mechanics are you most interested in?
What I like in game are nice endings: let me have some "route" with a good/bad ending and not just the last H scene over and over. For the H scenes, let me "earn" them: I want to gradually know the npc and then have the H scens with him/her.
