New game idea

don't exactly know what NTR means. I also do not care what people think of my game. I wish I could build a game that is as big as skyrim, thus everyone gets a choice. Personally, the fetishes and game idea is very specific to my wants. I get it sometimes you think everyone will like what you like, but I know my idea will not be very popular. I don't care anyway. I mean I have spoken to game creators and they all seem delusional to the fact that their games have rape in them. I guess I am really not ashamed of what I like because it is fantasy land. This is where all the dark stuff can be created because it is just a game. Those that complain are just butt hurt, or are looking for an argument......
As for storyboarding, thank you for all the ideas. I am going at this in a very slow manner. I already have the complete game thought out. But like I said, finding someone to do the creating/learning myself, is going to take some time.

Good to hear. Don't let anyone dictate your content. NTR is in a nutshell, any action in a porn setting that is intended to or could cause feelings of jealousy. So, girlfriend sharing is often considered NTR, even though it's technically not. However, you'll get your fair share of players going full "REEEEEEEEE" over it. Still, have fun and make the game you want.

I suggest Ren'Py, it's fairly simple to learn. You could also find yourself an artist rather than learning it yourself, if you prefer, that's what I've done.

If you're gonna go with Ren'Py then I would recommend you try to avoid renders
The market is over-saturated as it is and most people including myself will probably overlook your game without a recommendation from those they trust

People are just as likely to overlook 2d art just because of it being 2d. As much as I like both, its definitely not a majority opinion to like them.

I like 2D art, it took me forever to play Summertime Saga, Good Girl Gone Bad, and Kingdom of Deception, because I wasn't convinced by their pages. They have good art. Now add to that the fact that a lot of people are simply opposed to 2d in general, and you lose a lot of people either way.

nope, it was right the first time. 2d art and 3d art are both liked by many, and both disliked by many - no way to tell how many prefer either of them, though. People simply are likely to overlook certain art styles.

Again it comes down to the Dev should do what the Dev is envisioning. If they have this idea that they'll use real photography with renders accented by 2D shit... well that sounds like something I may actually be interested in.
