Fixed in the online version from day 1 and in version 1.1 it will be fixed for whoever wants to downloadView attachment 4414491
The very first image of the game does't load, c'mon guys, do you even play your own game b4 releasing it?
I have complained about this on so many games and usually get dogpiled by people disagreeing. Speak the truth! Why have you put the versioning down as 1.0 instead of 0.1.0 to followYou must be registered to see the linksas most would see 1.0 and think that most of the game is in place instead of this being the first release/version?
Doesn't work properly on linux due to broken file paths, just stick with all lower case directory/file names if using correct case is too much to manage. Obfuscating the urls using variables to shorten the urls also makes it a pain in the ass to fix the broken urls with scripts too.
[/CITA]
I will take this into account for the next version 1.1 and put all routes in lowercase
Disabling the rollback feature requires a lot or little knowledge in the field of movement in games.I'd remove the one hour cost to movement or bring back Twine's rollback feature. Both combined make playing the game pretty miserable. It actively discourages exploration (though there's not much here right now) as everything has a huge cost to it time wise. Also, grind is pretty horrendous, hopefully that's not intended. Porn being unlocked automatically would be nice as it's a little useful as a way to pass time, and really who needs computer skills to access porn?
To be honest, it doesn't matter at all to the player, because there is such a thing as a developer's diary.I can understand people hating it if your saying about it when it's not an newly made thread since most are used to the versioning at that point and it's also not at 1.0 (initial release) where it can be mistaken as 1.0.0 (aka feature complete), timing is everything with it all otherwise I would mention it more too. It's also something that's easily missed thought wise when doing first releases, same with when an Dev is at 0.9 and then go to 0.10 but don't telegraph it well.
I messed up with versioning my mod in that respect though the first version I felt was pretty complete and I then just had more ideas come to mind to add to it, also didn't know about Semantic Versioning back then
We open it and realize that this is the first version.Changelog:

So that the player does not feel any discomfort in terms of moving in the game.
And if he calls it, it means he did it intentionally to stretch the game, like other things in the game such as grinding mechanics.
In fact, these are the developers' favorite things.
By the way, I don't like using the movement mechanics that game time uses.
Because, as you said, this is a tough framework for the player.
I disagree with this as my understanding is that the versioning is in the title informs potential players what rough stage the game is at development wise and if it's an full release version (with updates potentially on the way) or if it's an first version release. There's many threads on here that have v1.0 as their final version with the completed tag and without. An Example and another example. To be honest, it doesn't matter at all to the player, because there is such a thing as a developer's diary.

As I wrote earlier, I completely agree with you that giving a more correct version labeling is a very good thing.I disagree with this as my understanding is that the versioning is in the title informs potential players what rough stage the game is at development wise and if it's an full release version (with updates potentially on the way) or if it's an first version release. There's many threads on here that have v1.0 as their final version with the completed tag and without. An Example and another example.
Additionally I personally find expecting all players to check the changelog/developer diary for specific mentioning of what version it is and such is not right as final versions don't end up with a changelog that's useful (see another example) and many don't check it because in most cases it holds changes made to the game...not versioning. So those that do check are often returning players to see what the difference is between the new version and the last version they played to make the decision on if they should play the new version.
I wouldn't be surprised if the changelog is only touched by a few percent of total players that go into the thread.
Finally changelog/developer diary has never (from what I've seen) given indications about if 0.9 is really 0.09 about to turn to 1.0 or 0.10 so I'm left confused about how this doesn't matter then either? (Since some players don't play near development completion so the game seems to have more fresh unseen content)
