Probably not the best advice generally, but just like... Turn windows defender off to finish downloading it lol, you can always turn it back on afterwards
but i mean when you put it in totalvirus alot of other anti virus flag it even the good one so idk if the risk worth it

according to tria.ge the file *do* do some weird stuff in the background.
they tagged it "discovery" 7/10 got some issues with the file

it Checks computer location settings 2 TTPs 2 IoCs (Looks up country code configured in the registry), Enumerates physical storage devices 1 TTPs (Attempts to interact with connected storage/optical drive(s)), System Location Discovery: System Language Discovery 1 TTPs 2 IoCs (Attempt gather information about the system language of a victim in order to infer the geographical location of that host.), and Suspicious use of WriteProcessMemory .

both the DLsite demo (I did not buy the game), and the file from galaxy potato (which I do believe he bought) are sprinkled with monitoring code. So it won't do anything with your computer, but give whoever is monitoring it information. So it'll run, and you'll get to play the game, but it'll take some of your info. So it's not GalaxyPotato's fault, the Dev that uploaded it to DLsite has uploaded it with strings attached.

From looking at the decompiled exe it looks like it was made with "ClickTeam Fusion", which is a game engine that nearly always gets flagged as a virus, according to some googling. Based on some fourm posts by other devs even simple test games get flagged for the same things. So the game is probably fine
