Lol, first time I see someone сalling lack of content a good thing x) I just cant understand Ostrich's flow of thinking. Was it something like: "Okay, my game is 6 years in development, its clearly not enough for my grand AAA project so I need to simplify it somehow in order to reduce the number of potential code lines and events. Hmm, how to do it so people wont complain. Oh, yes! Lets not add shoes in game so your character will always be barefeet and leave everything else to players imagination because thats why everyone are playing my game right, to use their imagination, not to read and explore whats already ingame. What a marvelous idea!"
Cuz yeah, imagine how many events and systems could be done with shoes, you could have heels skill which you can improve by walking in them (another example of new activity to do in game), you can have different reactions from your friends and partner, you can have random "trip" events if you walking in heels that are way above your heel skill level. Many options which all are adding to depth in this game. And this is what this game lacks, real depth, its not only about shoes, I picked shoes only because its most unlogical cut the developer could come up with (lets include whole wardrobe for player to choose but lets not add shoes). And how could you defend something like this when there is no jewelry, shoes, makeup, hairdos, accs? I thought the more stuff we have in game the better? Especially if this stuff somehow contributes to actual game in form of new events, activities or reactions from other character. You say it will be complicated? Yeah, but thats the problem of horrendous wardrobe system that is currently ingame that is being developed for 6 years x)
These events that you are talking about which are in almost every update, they are nothing more than grains of content I already mentioned above. And majority of them are locked between ridiculous requirements that most people will never see unless they meet them. Office work was a nice addition, yeah. Look forward to see it expanded in coming few years.
