Wow, many thanks to KrystalTheFox for pointing us to Perchance AI. I've been messing around with the AI RPG Text Adventure thingy, and I am blown away by the writing and how depraved it can get. I have been struggling to learn to code in order to write a text based porn game, but now i can relax and forget it. The AI can almost equal me in creative writing and can offer a far wider selection of scenarios than any game, certainly any game within my limited powers to produce. Once you get to grips with how the AI "thinks", it becomes a delight to guide it to where you want to go and then let it do its thing.
As others have said, consistency can be a little hit and miss and the AI can develop an obsession with certain things, for example in one story I was trying to develop a romantic relationship while the AI seemed determined to bring other partners into the play, despite my scenario not indicating any preference for group sex. I thought I was kinky, but it seems my imagination has nothing on an artificial imagination!
It feels like the dawn of AI sex games, perfectly tailored to individual likes and dislikes. The era of humans is passing, all hail our new AI overlords!

On a more serious note, the AI responds well to careful prompting. Give it an hour or two and it will surprise you with its capabilities.

Actually guys, there's a curious question I've been wondering. Since the story creation in AI gens are fully in your hands, whose perpective you take during a story, aka who is the main character - a girl or a dude or both or neither! I do find myself putting female OC into the spotlight folowing her downfall at the hands of others.
I've tried both male and female, as well as trying being a trans girl. The AI coped admirably with all of them. I've been playing Second Life for years, and based on that I'd say that the Perchance AI can do a far better imitation of a human writing erotically than about 95% of humans can do!

Ooof, yep. I did try the fox's gen, but keeep returning to my own. Right now going for Being a DiK kind of story with some light basic omegaverse logic added to keep things extra. Made a very sharp tongued girl and AI answers ridiculously well to being outquipped and made fun of. In all my Erp experience this is the most fun and comfortable way, without waiting and without hoping to find someone who isn't illiterate "I'm your master now suck my dick" kind of person.
Still original works of smut help to ground and make the basis for any extra AI generation.

But yeah, the way the AI builds believable characters from just a short description (or even pulls them out of thin air without human prompting) is seriously impressive. Tell it someone is shy or sassy, a gentleman or an asshat, and it almost builds a believable person for you. It even forms relationships between NPCs.
Human creators can't win this one, which i find a little concerning. Pretty soon we won't be able to tell what is AI and what is not. Still, as long as we have porn games I'll be okay. Shallow is my middle name!

Being A DIK is a quite popular porn game, tbh the best 3dcg game ever, about college life and sex! If newlife was developed for as long as it has been out, I'm sure some college related content could've been added.
Omegaverse is a weird fanfiction/smut books genre. It is a lot of things, but the main concept is there are the alphas who fuck and...I think betas who get fucked. And it's like a biological trait. Forced hierarchy, that made cringey by the absurd amount of low level smut this topic has birthed.
ERP, erotic role play, or to be more precise it would be erotic text role play in my case. Don't judge me, we've all been twelve or smthing
Also don't agree. I certainly enjoy this as a toy, and a way to flex my writing and imagination muscules, but the "books" it produces are trash. As is everything so far seen. I'm think the fate of AI in art is being a bottom feeder of some weird tic toc book clubs and unknowing boomers on social media...and amature media creations in niche social circles. The famous art will be continued to be created by humans, even if now wielding ai tools in their arsenal...which many already did, regarding art crowd. And if I'll eat my words, please bring some ketchup

What I like about Newlife is the sex engine, the choices and responses it gives. If you want that in a college setting, then I highly recommend Course of Temptation,
On the whole I find Newlife too limiting, other games have long since overtaken it. But the Perchance AI seems able to write smut on the fly and does it well, which means the end for games like Newlife. They also have AI images, though unless you like amputees or guys with two dicks they don't work perfectly quite yet! They will get there though, and worryingly soon.

I hope you're right, but as we have seen art and poetry critics tricked by paintings by monkeys or randomly chosen words already, excuse me for being pessimistic!
Of course we should bear in mind that everything the AI learns comes from us, humans. You are quite right that the greatest creators will always be human - but bear in mind that our own beloved SO is far from a da Vinci but still makes a tidy sum every month! Polymaths, or whatever they are called, will still lead in creativity. But AI is always learning from them, and all those making a living from being journeymen will have to find a proper job

To be fair, you do have to hold its hand a bit and i found myself editing a lot of its work when I thought it was getting repetitive/incoherent but as somebody who enjoys writing and editing I don't mind that at all. If you don't like writing then it probably isn't for you.
I did a pretty freaky scenario about a girl trying to not get raped by horny alien monsters that have invaded her town. Now I'm using it to make a story about a couple whose camping trip goes horribly, erotically wrong. As for the prompts themselves I mainly entered stuff that I thought would be logical action for the character I was using which the AI did a pretty good job of staying true to although there were times when it seemed incapable of comprehending something so I had to manually write new lines (not a big deal for me).
In the immediate future sure and I do not think AI will ever be able to fully replace human creators without achieving AGI but I can see more and more artists using it in the future as a supplementary tool that can expedite the creative process (with the human reviewing the AI's product, tweaking editing or even discarding it as necessary) kind of like how modern workers use power tools to increase their productivity.
Fem POV, just my personal preference but I usually find female characters to be more interesting than male ones.

Kinky, enjoyer of tentacular goodness, good sir? Okay, but yeah, I think the biggest impact on the quality comes from the initial post, the starter. The more defined world you make, the more things AI can pull from. And usually if I have vague idea about what I want, AI ain't gonna make a good long term story. From that point onward the story writes itself...of a cliff if you don't steer it where you want. AI can and will write dialogue and actions for all characters, but in turn you yourself can chime as one or the other character, but of course steering you POV is the most interesting, as her choices you choose for her embody the rpg nature of it.
Oh and pray tell me about this disasterous trip...hm maybe a separate thread to share a starter prompts would not be such a bad idea.
