Some people like it. But I am specifically doing short story games now while I continue to work on my drawing fundamentals and art skills to become better. Each game should look progressively better than the last.

Here are a couple spoiler images I'm working on for the next version, which will complete this game and finish the story. After that I will re-evaluate my art-style and figure out what kinds of things I want to change and improve for the next game.

If you have any feedback for things I should work on, please let me know.

Here's a few of my favorite artists so you can see the kind of artist I want to become over time with practice.

Do you think these guys above are good?

(These Questions are open to any one, not just the person I responded too. Thanks)

Watching everyone get bent out of shape over this has me sitting back with a bag of popcorn and a smile on my face.

Keep going Ortus. The art is still a little rough but I think it's a good start. You already have a good grasp of scaling the characters well to their environments, and the scenes are well composed. The artists you posted are fine, but they're mostly copying the art style of the work they're parodying. I think an artist like Akabur might be worth looking at. His work is similar to the source material, but he takes more liberty with the linework. Since these are still images and not animated, more time can be spent on varying the thickness of the lines to add weight and depth. You've already moved away from the art style of the show, I think this would be a good goal to improve your style.

Well for one thing the Hanna Barbera style don't work well with the character design of Arthur
And if you ask me I say try to do something similar with Rick and Morty A Way Home where the Art style is the same but give the characters a more sexualized proportions but keep it balance so it won't look off kinda like this

And you don't have to be THAT good but at least keep the proportions right and you don't have to do the "fur" thing and just keep it rounded like the show did

hope that helps

Thanks everyone! I'm taking all this into consideration for my next project, which will most likely be a teen titans story. Probably will very close to the original style with small some subtle improvements in the linework. I'll be experimenting.

For this one I've already done about 60% of the images needed to finish it, so I won't be redoing the style but I was mostly asking for future projects.

Next update will complete this VN. There's a twist at the end.

I am genuinely interested, don't let the naysayers get to you.

In the three spoiler pictures you posted the first one looks great, but there's something wrong with the boob in the other two, and the face in the third looks a bit masculine.
Thanks I made some changes to her face, but I like the dangling boobs for her in those scenes at least XD.

Ok for a up and coming creator this is not terrible, but you should possibly put that in the description to warn people and also that it is a very short story as in only one night. I understand you are working on the art and to be honest I have seen worse, but it definitely needs work as does your story crafting. This was let's just say cute like a kid being proud of making a C on a test which is better than a D, but you know still kind of disappointing. Don't give up just keep working and make us proud get to that A+ because there is potential.

Honestly, not too bad. I thought it was going to be really terrible, but it has potential. Parodying Arthur is a interesting choice though, but there's been worse on this site.

I feel my heart beating too fast and a sharp tingle in the back of my head when I look at all of this, the art is... fine but the concept is lighting my soul on fire, not sure if that's good or not

will post tomorrow if still alive
did... did you die?

It's good to throw yourself out there. A very hard thing to do. I haven't played it, but I wish you all the luck! Definitely will get a lot of experience out of this. Because also learning the engine of what you're working with is double experience.
