The game does not have a very good autosave, you have to manually save.

I've literally never used an auto-save before. In no game what-so-ever that allows me to save at any time will I ever trust an auto-save.
And no, this is not limited to these types of games either.

Sounds like game is in a folder where you have no write permissions or something.
Or too long a path causing write issues.
Or JPN character support not properly working and you have JPN chars in your path.

Stuff like that.

tested no crash so far. MTL is not a disaster but some h scene has no dialog.
is a great game and the scene are sure hot.
