No longer getting alerts for new posts in watched threads.

Hey all!

It seems my counterpart and I are no longer getting any forum alerts for updates to any of the threads we're watching, nor are we getting any alerts about reactions to our posts. It started a few days ago and has been a consistent issue since then. Is this a common bug (or other such technical issue) on the forum, or are we the only ones getting this?

Thanks in advance for any help, or even responses in general!

PS: We have double-checked our settings and all of the required notification things are turned on, so that definitely isn't what is the cause of this bollockry.

Same here. No notifications for hours which makes it hard to follow discussions. Quite frustrating. I hope they fix this.

It just started for me the last alert I got was a reaction to a post I made. I went back to a thread I follow and the first new message was before I got the alert for the reaction. So there really is an issue. Same as MalLiz. I hope the issue get resolved fast.

The last 'replied to thread' notification I received was at Mar 31, 2025 at 4:34 (CET = UTC+1), so a little bit less than 22,5 hours before the writing of this post, so things must have gone wrong some time after that. Hope this helps with pinpointing the time if needed.

I received a reaction notification since, but I'm guessing there's a good chance those are not broken, judging by the things written here (same with being quoted too, I guess?).

It seems things are working as intended for us now as well, so maybe? I mean, it would be really weird if the issue arose randomly and then somehow disappeared randomly, without any form of user input to fix it. :unsure:

Well either way, I'm glad things are back to "normal" now at least.

I'm not sure if no one is posting reviews of the games I follow, but it seems I still don't get alerts for those if people are reviewing. ( I usually get alerts for more than one review per day and now I still have none, but for me it's a lesser issue.)

Edit: I just got some reviews in my alerts. Not sure if no one was rating games or if the alerts are back too.

Hmm, there where two issues with the notifications, but one was due to last week maintenance, and the other located to yesterday (in a lax meaning due to the timezone). If you encounter this since early March, it's something radically different.

Are you sure that you've been on the last page of the threads for which you don't get notification anymore, and that you haven't unchecked the notifications for watched threads?
Also try to marks the forum as read (use the link on the link bar that is on top of every page), it can possibly unstuck you.

i tried different things after my last comment and i think one of them solved the problem and i just got a notification from you
