perhaps it not for everyone, and hence the drama nowadays in platform St**m. but the again, this is a fantasy game, and its meant to embrace things that are not allow in real life, making this game all the more exciting
This was an entertaining story and the game had good animations. Enjoyed playing it and I am looking forward to part two. Had some bugs with error messages but I was able to ignore and complete the game fairly quickly without any major issues.
Good story, great game mechanics and truly a game of choice. Look forward to any other works they produce hopefully this isn't the last project. would love to see more games of this quality. If you get the chance be sure to play through the entire game I believe if you enjoy the Genre you will definitely enjoy this game.
A decent game that deserves a 5 star rating. In a sea full of slop, this one is among the better games that's worth downloading the 9.4 GB zip file.

Choices actually matter here. MC doesn't stray further from the blackmailing conniving horndog that he is but hey, you actually have at least a slightly different approach on how you exploi....errr...treat your stepmom. You can be a true asshat or at least a romantic asshat which could probably put-off some hardcore merciless purists out there.
Dialouge would have been every VN's situation where you just skip everything and go straight to the porn because dialouges are boring. Which is bound to happen almost in every case. You can still skip dialouges in this game but for me, the premise of having a forceful one-sided affair made me at least invest in reading and thankfully it is serviceable. It's not too banal but not too pretentious either. It had me invested in at least reading those lines knowing more about the story the author is trying to weave. And not all VNs can manage to pull that kind of stuff even decently.
And I like the model. Kinda reminds me of Jill Valentine. Very hot.
For the most part the game is good if you're interested in its particular fetishes, the corruption is nicely done with the main LI, it's also not very slow but not absurdly quick (for the other characters it's not treated that nicely). The graphics are very good and the gameplay is enjoyable, the minigames are never too much and grinding is very minor (money) and easily solved. I have only tried the Normal difficulty, so if you're not interested in gameplay at all probably the easy mode will work better (and if the only content difference is the scene I think it is, you're not missing anything important).
Now, on the story side... anything not sex related is quite lame, it tries to create a mystery there about the past of the parents that is resolved quite awfully and feels totally irrelevant, but at least it doesn't take too much time to feel like a big waste. Then, it seems to me that they shortened it a lot from what they originally wanted, probably that's why the mystery seems so lame, but in general it seems like the intention was doing something bigger and we get just a decently finished thing that just feels rushed. The last chapter is probably the worst part, the ending is just like "wrap it all and send it like it is".
Also you should know in advance that the no-incest version is absolutely ridiculous in text and will foul no one, so if you want to avoid the incest it won't be easy to ignore. They didn't put any effort to make it fit or create an alternative text, they say things like "I'm going to introduce you to my Nicole's sister" instead of "Aunt", or the father talking about the MC as "your Husband's son" to the main LI. It doesn't even make any sense storywise
In result, a decent game that works if you're interested in the fetishes and works nicely on that on a purely sex related sense, but I should avoid having higher expectations.

Animation is better than 90% of the games, the picture is beautiful and also the pace, given the karen hoard attacks it is rushed but it is what it is i guess.
Played 2 routes and tbh i like the love path the emotion of her cheating willingly was exciting.

Gameplay and Mechanics
All choices matter, so you really have to indulge in the script and pay attention to what you say and why.
Right off the bat, the player is offered with Easy or Hard mode, always choose Hard as it's not hard but gives you more choices and scenes.
Braching story lead to different ending according to how you treat you mom. Straight up abuse, manipulative, or toxic passion with a hint of love. Pick your poison.
According to your choices the points will rise or fall in each chapter, either Domination or Lust, so choose your words wisely.
Addition of minigames is spontaneous fun when reading dialogue.
Story
A twisted narrative to punish your cheating mother, serves to the fantasy of MC's dark mind of manipulating and corrupting her helpless slutty ass. Rape is the unapologetic theme, as the name "No Mercy" suggests. Even the love path is like playing with a delicate sexdoll, not really winning her heart.
"Love" path is also just using your mom as a fucktoy but with less hatefull tongue, but hey, it's a rape game, what do you expect. But it's not as violent as the title suggest, if Saul Goodman was writing this review he would say, "It's more of a Sexual Assault rather than Rape".
Even if it is not as graphically violent as other games I have played, It's Emotionally taxing, actually its too good in that aspect.
The beinging was a great setup for one of the greatest stories in porn games, but it all feels wasted, rushed and meaningless ending with not using the potential of the history and elements of the narrative.
Addition of Aunt seemed like a great factor which would play out with mother, but it went nowhere, Aunt was just turned into an incest loving cumdump.
The Sidequest are fun, like corrupting the beaver lover Sheila and bullying Tommy and his mom, add some spice to already spicy story.
Characters
MC is a demented drugdealer with a meangirl attitude towards anyone and everyone. Which suits the game, but doesn't really change all along his journey, just want to fuck everyone.
Mom is the best character in the game, A diamond with a flaw, A princess with a loose clam, but her eyes have more depth than whole females in most games.
Side characters do a decent job in being a fucktoys, nothing really deep.
Graphics and Sound
One of the graphics and animations in porn games, highly detailed world and semi realistic models.
Sex scenes with multiple cams and realistic camera movement adds to the immersion.
Sound design is good but is overshadowed by the graphics. But it's not necessarily a bad thing, The moans, sex sounds and effects are on point, including the ambient sound effects.
Replay Value
Good replayabilty, you literally cant finish the game completely in one run, unlocking various achievements and galleries through multiple runs of branching paths.
Personal Opinion
A well cut, but Unpolished diamond, It's a great taboo game to be a twisted basterd who will fuck anyone especially if that anyone is in the family. But it is just a little leap short of being a masterpiece.
Unused elements lead to plotholes, the fact that use of violence, drugs, NTR, cuckolding, revenge and blackmail is not turned to max setting in a game called "No Mercy" frustrated me.
Pros:

More fleshed-out “Dark love” route that’s less rapey and more satisfying but cucking your dad and stealing his wife in front of him.
Write NoMercy on a porno magazine for women and those purple haired whales will scream, cum and piss themselves and ultimately "use" their dogs to relieve them - and no one will give a fuck! Even though RAPE is the n°1 female fantasy tag. But when its a game made by a dude and distributed on Steam, somehow now its a problem?

The market is so oversaturated that even good products will fail by being buried under so many options - so the thing that can make difference and turn your game into a success is marketing. And those idiots by the Streisand Effect got the attention of a lot of people like me, that never heard about it before.

The Visual Novel is overall pretty good, and even tho I don't like Daz models - in NoMercy they are not the best at times but the scenes are nice. Story is a novelty for H-Games and because of that I give it a high score.
The game is definitely one of the best out there, but it's not perfect. Games like this make me wish there would be a 10 star system, so I could give it 9/10, if not 9.5.

* The game has a very strong manipulation, domination plot that I would estimate as more or less realistic. The MC is a real a-hole and this is what nowadays makes a story to stand out. Since most corruption games are much softer.
** The scenes are absolute awesome, it's very rare to see such realistic, beautiful animations with perfect sound effects.
Things I didn't like:
Domination/Love points that reset each Chapter and have to be build for that chapter differently
Weird money system, which either forces you a different paths or is luck based
Not all scenes can be unlocked in one playthrough***
**To be fair, most VN games are like that, but I'm not a fan of replaying a game to unlock all the scenes, so it's a minor point.
Another reason why I wouldn't say that the game is a 10/10 is that it's main plot is incest. When a game is build around a certain fetish, people who don't like it, won't like the game at all. On the other hand for people who love it, will love the game even more.
I don't get why these games insist on having us perform monotonous/ repetitive tasks. Per the walkthrough I was forced to spend about 10 mins scratching off lottery cards to earn enough money to see some scenes. This had me frequently saving then reloading then scratching then saving then scratching then loading etc... Now imagine trying to do all that with one hand. I couldn't manage to keep my PP hard and as did my member soften, so too did my interest in this game.
Despite the controversy this is a fairly mediocre experience. Short and not at all that interesting. The corruption or lack thereof happens very quickly and the main character is a drug dealer scumbag that makes me question why the mom is even surprised with what's happening. It's alright, but please... enough of these awful "minigames" that reduce my lust meter to 0.
At first I felt that the game was forcing you to be the "bad guy" and I thought, "this is going to be another VN with almost a linear story with no real impactful choices." However, I was humbled, and WOW did it deliver.
The game has great graphics. On some of the scenes I had to stop and look how the lighting and shadows were rendered in a scene. My hat off to you Dev.
The story isn't what I would call a slow burn but it has a decent pace for a short game. I would have liked it if the story would be a bit tad slower so that it could explore the characters more. For example: the protagonist's motivation is just "I'm going to turn my stepmom in a slut because I'm horny and I want her to be mine" or "because you betrayed me and my heart was broken I will enact my revenge" (depending on the route). I feel it would have been more impactful if the motivations were explored more.
But alas it's a porn game and it delivers. Overall good game. Great job Dev.

The way this dev brought (what a human being as myself or you who are reading this would catalog or think as a "Normal 30+ yo woman with attractiveness) to this game... is mesmerizing.
The realism of a normal, plain and simple woman, that sometimes in daily life would look good, other times not that good, and other times...you know what im talking about right? in a daily basis, a woman not always looks good, this game made that fact and realism the main focus while plasmating the characters, that's what gave this game a solid addicition to me to keep playing it, because, inside that imperfection of the women, as the aunt , the stepmother and the others, inside that imperfection, the dev truly mastered the perfection of captivating that imperfection and made it sexy, hot, attractive, FUCKING HOT... that's why EVERY animated SCENE is SO FUCKING HOT

the cheating blackmail feature alternating between lust and domination is just a secondary aspect , you may like it or not, but the sole premise of this game is watching Nicole succumb to debauchery and MC domination, while resisting ( failing in it) or watch her submit to pleasure and love, the diaogues are good enough to keep along all i said before.

There seems to be a big disconnect between me and other people in this thread about the models.
I think they look absolutely awful. I generally do not like this graphic style and I think most characters produced with it look ugly, but even with that in mind these are among the ugliest models I have ever seen in these kinds of VNs.
That's why the bad rating, I just can't get over how ugly the characters are.
For a porn game, characters being so repulsive that you don't want to pick the choices that can get you involved with them, is a fatal flaw.
This game is marked as complete but it is very short and ends quite abruptly with no real ending so i wouldn't think of it as a "full" game.
The story has quite a good start and continues well but the endings are very very lacking.
One of the big big pluses for the game is the way the choices influences the writing which makes the choices feel real/impactful even if they have little actual effect on the content.
There are two main routes, love and domination and while the writing does well to reflect those themes the art doesn't with most of the scenes being quite vanilla.
Art for the female characters is well done as they look realistic but on the flip side the male characters look ugly and creepy, the animation is ok some of the time but pretty bad the rest, personality wise they all come off as individual and realistic to a point.
For me the main two things lacking in the game was the length and the lack of kinks, its called no mercy and that's not reflected in the adult content.

I've played a couple of dozen games on this site and have seen a lot of stuff both incredibly uplifting and incredibly horrific. But this game is different simply from the amount of controversy it has generated on mainstream sites. I wanted to figure out if the outcry was valid and am making this review for anyone like me.
Initial thoughts
I'm going to get it out of the way first, this game is not badly made. The renders are great, the music is great, the gameplay is fine, and the story is ok. Almost all of the characters are normal and believable and it is absolutely a run of the mill renpy game. What makes this game so different though, is the MC.

The MC is a psychopath. He is uncaring of others pain and the only value he gives to others is if he can fuck them or not. I've never seen a renpy game have an MC be so unapologetically evil and UNAWARE of how horrible he is.
Is this game really as horrific as people say?
It's certainly not a bright game and at times it can get quite dark when Nicole is begging for the MC to stop but he only gets more turned on. But comparing it to other games I've seen, no. It's just a power fantasy. As long as you can separate fiction from reality, I don't see this game being a real harm.
Should it have gotten delisted from Steam? No, not when games like Mojika, which depicts gang rape of highschool teens, gets to be listed and sold on the platform.
No mercy went viral on Western social media and that was the creators downfall. This really is just an average game.
Like many other have said, I wouldn't not even have touch this game if not for the controversy. Some of the animations itself is AI generated and quality of the animations are not as good as what was shown in preview
I admit that if there hadn't been the controversy of the game's withdrawal from Steam I would never have gotten close to it. But I wanted to try to get a personal idea and also to understand the context. In terms of the game: the graphics are not as good as what was seen in the presentation, overall poor. The story is that of a small-time drug dealer who lives with his parents and who discovers his mother cheating on her husband. At that point he blackmails and rapes her. There is practically nothing else, no character development, no different route, depending on the choices made you may or may not see some scenes.
Fun? I didn't have fun at all, I simply found it very stupid and childish.
Had this bookmarked for later but the "mainstream" coverage compelled me to try it today. Ending might be rushed though it was an interesting way to wrap things up and most porn games overstay their welcome and become stale anyway.
The things that come before the end are excellent. Mom's design with her unique but age appropriate hairstyle/body is enticing and something that's rarely seen. Lot of attention to detail in the way she dresses as well. The animations and sound in this game is top tier. The scenarios while a bit cruel make sense in this porn setting. Our character is a scumbag so the love route with any LI doesn't seem believable but this is my only gripe with this game.
If you play in Normal mode, you have to be really mindful of your choices and pay attention. The minigames are not a bother and do add a bit to the overall experience. I liked the scope which remained limited but with lots of nuances and branching.
Lots to love here and looking forward to a more meaty and serious game this team makes next. Make good use of the exposure. Good luck.
