Gave the new version a little bit of a spin, and I do like the newer artstyle for sure.
The rework on the opening strip poker with Boa is nice as well, and I think including the lost clothing on the table is pretty great actually. Nicer then it vanishing into the ether, though I can imagine its kind of a pain in the butt.
I tried doing that in Koikatsu once, and it involves a lot of turning models invisible and flattening them and... it's just a pain.
I'm still a little iffy on the "Lives" system, but that's more just a narrative disconnect. I can understand not wanting each life to represent a piece of clothing due to the amount of work that could mean, but it also feels weird how you have to win (or lose) a few hands, to actually win/lose, and the dialogue suggests you only played that one hand. That might be some nitpicking on my end though.
I'm still really looking forward to the first real strip poker match we can unlock though. And I'm really interested to see how such a scene with Lisa will go.
Call it a really, really specific thing, but I guess a lesbian character playing strip poker against a guy is potentially really interesting for well, the entire situation. And interested to see how you'll handle writing it as well.
The scene select thing is a nice debug addition though for sure.
As a potential thing, this might be a Godot thing, but it is a bit of a thing that it can't save the progress of something. Like if you save in the middle of a poker game, and load it, you go back to the start. While this prevents savescumming I suppose, it does also make it tricky if you want to try and see different outcomes... I do like how there is changes depending on how well (or poorly) the game is going for the player.
