Are we looking at a release for October?

Any teases for some of the upcoming content/any fun difference for Lisa vs the Ash strip poker scene?

I think I am at a point where I can say the release date will either be next Sunday (26th), or the following Sunday (2nd of Nov) (most of the time I get to work on this is on weekends, so I mostly measure my updates in terms of # of weekends.)

Which of those 2 days it will be, will depend on how much I get done / how much I have left after this weekend, so I'll have a better idea tomorrow.

This update has taken quite a long time, which I'm sad about. Lots of reasons, blah blah I won't get into it (if I miss a weekend, it's almost like an immediate 7 day delay on the update).

The only thing this update may lack is going to be animations/videos. It's going to depend how much time I have to spare, videos are usually the absolute last thing I do. But if I can't get them in time for this update, I'll add them to this scene in a future update (like I did before with a couple scenes.) Also one of the video tools I would use has recently started getting very strict on anything even remotely NSFW / showing any skin, so that's annoying.

I also really want to spend some time to learn some of the latest video generation tools because some really cool stuff has released, but it's much more complicated than image generation & I didn't want to spend a bunch of time on learning that stuff right now when this update has taken so long.

This update does do some things a bit differently from Ashely's, but nothing you haven't seen before in some way elsewhere in the game. I hope it all works because I haven't been able to put everything together and actually play it yet (that's my goal for this weekend, to have a full playable build.)

Videos are realllly hard to do with stripping actions (I've tried.) Video generation is just much more primitive than image generation. It takes a lot longer (sometimes >10-15 min) to generate a single 5 second video, and you can't really "control" it, it's mostly just pure luck. So I can't just bulk generate 100 videos and hope for a good one, it would take many hours to do that.

There is one tool I've heard about which I want to research (Wan with VACE), which might make it easier. However like I mentioned it will take me quite a long time to really try it out & understand it, and I want to get this update out before then. Currently most of the videos in the game are just "luck". I toss some of my images in, give it a few tries, and if I get something good I use it.

Gonna be tight! I thought I was done with art, but added over 40 new images just today. There are a lot of variations around whether she's happy or sad at that particular moment that I didnt plan for. However, it's coming along really well.

I am likely going to have to trim down a few things that I wanted to do. However, I plan to add these quickly after this release, just to not keep y'all waiting.

Things I'm trimming:

• This version of the update definitely won't have any videos, I won't have time to set up everything I need for video generation by tomorrow.
• I have a sort of special ending planned ("special" in terms of important story content, not additional nsfw content), however it's not realistic that I will be able to finish that how I want. So it will end rather abruptly after the poker match has its full "conclusion." I will add the "real" ending in the next update.
• There are some bugs I wanted to fix with this update. Specifically the fact that saves get messed up if you save on a choice, but it's going to be a crapshoot if I have time to fix that or not. This will be my highest priority if I have time.

Wild to think, this upcoming game is actually the first one I was curious about. And wondered how it would be handled and stuff... it's already here...

Important status update:

I managed to complete the most important pieces of this update, however I did not have enough time to complete it up to my fully vision. I found myself rushing to try and work in some final pieces of content, but decided it is best if I take my time with them and make them more rewarding. So I am releasing this as the v08 BETA release. The full v08 release will come later.

Here is what IS included in this release:

• Fully completable poker game with >200 images
• Full ending (with NSFW!)

I did not get to test this update as much as I would have liked. I have literally been working on it for 40 of the last 48 hours and only did a few run throughs. If you find any bugs, inconsistencies, etc... feel free to post them here.

Good thing I read that spoiler before posting! I mean, I would've just said something that got answered anyway. Moving on!

While certainly not as charged in the same was as Ashley's strip poker sequence, Lisa's is certainly pretty good in its own way. But man, she really does make you work for it, huh? Still, I'd say of the two full sequences in the game (not counting Boa), I think I like Lisa's more? There's just something... hrm, different about it I suppose. She's got a lot of cute but determined energy, and given she's not as... interested in you, but still going through it is certainly a unique kind of energy to the game.

I'll have to withhold full judgement until the proper release of 0.8 though to see the intended third match though. I did think it was a bit strange how we had no losing events!

Though man, gonna have to probably play through the other rounds to get back to it. Ah well.

That all aside, Lisa does have some of the best smug images if she starts to win by a wider margin though. Also have to say, the AI gen really doesn't know what to do with cards. How many decks does she have laying around her apartment!?

Really curious to see the final release and give it a proper play.

Yeah the cards are just something I didn't even try to fix. It would have taken me hours upon hours. Time is always my limiting factor so I have to pick my battles. Sometimes I fixed them up if they were complete nonsense though.

I have no idea at this point. I think I've been wrong on every date estimate I have ever given, so I'll just say: when it's ready! It's definitely not a full update worth of content though, so it shouldn't take as long as a full update (I hope.)

I want to fix wallpapers & add poker hints & 10 cheat mode & the saving bug. I'll release that as a new update soon ™ and then I'll start working on the remaining content additions.
