That's the thing I liked the most on Samurai Vandalism, even the personalities were quite different. Not to mention that Momo, Mukuro, Mei or even the princess had gorgeous designs. Too bad the game felt incomplete at some instances. You make a game with two heroines but give them both the exact same body type and barely differentiated personalities. That's a fucking swing-and-a-miss if I've ever seen one.
This is the thing that bothers me on OneOne1, the guys are clearly talented and already have a big fanbase, but instead of polishing their games it feels like not only the formula is getting reused, but the care for detail isn't the same, it feels rushed. Mei even didn't have animation with dogs for example, compared to other enemies.
Ideology In Friction imo was the peak in quality, the only thing that was subpar was the art (which Samurai Vandalism and Witch Eclipse were definitely better). Even battle fuck like charming the enemies was better implemented, besides not being able to use Annette as playable character as well, but that's a personal wish. Even the enemies had more personality and depth that in the following games unfortunely, maybe the only exception was the Hannya face reveal.
But yeah, even the enemies and formula starts being reused over and over, besides seeing the CG I don't see the interest in the game. Hopefully when translation is done of this game I may have a different opinion, but unfortunely I'm not optimistic at all. And this isn't the way I'll pay for their content, unlike to other devs.
