If you're a fan of hypnosis or corruption, this is solid.
I really don't understand some of the other reviews. Combat can be turned up or down and there is dodging involved not just walking into enemies. I found it charming in its simplicity and it works.
The game has a bit of an overarching plot; the real meat of the game is in the separate story threads scattered throughout the game. There's no main branching path, it mainly explores scenarios. Some of them are "game over" scenarios with no exit, so save to new slots often. Each scenario is separate so they can be pretty tightly written. They're a lot of fun and can get pretty comprehensive.
Some scenarios will lead into others, so it's worth talking to everyone in town to check every now and again. Losing to bosses or choosing the "wrong" option at the boss often has a "game end" scenario, so make sure to save before then. Other "game end" scenarios typically have a dialogue choice to confirm.
Alternatively, the gallery contains a decent amount of context if you get the general gist of the game, and can be unlocked from the start. I wouldn't play it like this but, far be it from me to police your wanks.
